Replaced a very old heating pad with this one. It works well, gets hot enough, great timer and heat options. It is very soft which is nice, but I wish it was firmer and would stand up on its own a little. I use it in a chair for my lower back and it slumps like a towel would when you get up. It replaces an ancient, plastic heating pad with a removeable cover that constantly falls off and three heat settings: is it even on, sort of warm and scorching hot. I bought this to replace a heating pad I had for a long time that just wasnt safe to use anymore. This is very well made, light and does the job. I personally don't use beyond the '3' setting - that is plenty of heat and the settings are very easy to set and understand

This heating pad is soft and easy to carry around, but it says it goes up to a level six in heat which is equal to 140°F but that is not the case with this one anyway. It was definitely warm but that was it. It was not hot at all and we checked many times to make sure we were leaving it on the right settings Will re-order a different kind ... show more
