Several reviews say it doesn't have a dedicated power button. Mine has a power button with the universal symbol of on/off button. Others say it can't be set to stay on constantly. On mine timer can be set for for up to 24hrs. Most other pads have a max 4 hrs shutol off What more do you want? I guess if your trying to use it for an aquarium warmer that wouldn't work. But I'm happy with it as a heating pad. It's extra large so it covers my whole back. It's true that the pad can come unplugged from the controller if you move a lot. But being able to separate the pad from the electronics allows you to wash it, unlike most pads. A little duct tape solves the disconnection problem. ... show more

I’ve gone through dozens of heating pads over the years, and this is the only one I’ve felt the desire to repurchase.
