    • Get rid of your old heating pad

I have a bad back that acts up periodically. I brought out my old heating pad. At least a decade old. Couldn't get the heat where I wanted it. So I bit the bullet and bought this heating pad. It's excellent! It's much larger than my old heating pad, much softer, can't feel the wires, and has long wires to reach ac outlets. The heat is very adjustable and good choice of timers. Started using it while sleeping. Very soothing for my bad back and allowed me to get right to sleep. The auto-shutoff is much appreciated because I sleep beyond the 2 hour setting on the heating pad. It worked out so well that I bought another one. This one is for the chair in front of my computer. I wanted two heating pads because I did not want the hassle of unplugging the one by my bed and carrying it to my computer chair. Seems quite sturdy. I have treated it roughly during my sleep and so far no problems with the pad. Also, the price is quite reasonable for what you get. I priced less advanced heating pads at my local cvs store and they were more expensive. Bottom line-well worth buying. ... show more

I purchased this heating pad to replace one that was damaged last year. I use it on a chair in my garage during the winter. It does not heat as fast as my old one did but it provides plenty of heat. The controls are easy to navigate and I like that it has a two-hour cutoff in case you forget to shut it off. The material is soft and is reversible. A great addition to my garage! ... show more

    • It's Great, But Read The Warning Label

The warning label on the heating pad itself says to NOT get it wet. Makes sense, it IS electronics that generate heat thinly covered in fabric. However I do take a bit of an issue when they very openly advertise it as something that can be dampened and machine washed... When neither of these should be happening. That said, its a wonderful heating pad, and genuinely does help with pain and muscle tension. It's pretty good sized, longer than several others I've tried, heats well and quickly, and the adjustable settings are lovely. Love that it turns itself off after a set amount of time (this can also be set by you, so it doesn't just randomly turn off every 15 minutes while you're relaxing). The fabric is, in fact, soft and enjoyable to the touch! I've had no issues with the one I have. The only thing knocking off that star is the advertisements saying that you can mist it in water and throw it in the washing machine, as this is a contradiction to the product's own warning label... Which, let's be entirely honest, how many people are going to read it? Yes, we should, and I did... However the vast majority of people will not. Best case, this will break the product over time. Worst case, this can cause injury or even a fire hazard. Seeing as this is an issue with the advertising, and not the product(again, it has a warning label), I'm leaving most of the stars. ... show more

I love love love that the pad itself is soft and covered in fabric, not some weird little cover that moves around. The settings give plenty of options. I’m a 30 year old woman (my hubs and I share an Amazon account) so I’ve been using a heating pad now and then for many years and I’ve never ever used one as good as this! It is incredibly soft and comfortable, and the soft part detaches from the cord and can be washed! That is a game changer! Also there are 6 heat settings and 4 timer options as well as just a simple on/off switch so you can customize your heat and time preferences or just switch on and off I love that. I will ultimately probably be buying another one of these so I can have one just for me and one for the rest of the family. It’s just so nice, so comforting, feels so good on a sore back.
