This is the best heating pad I have ever had. Due to the fact that it is made of fabric, a soft cuddling fabric, instead of the plastic of before, it is comfortable against your blouse or wrap. The heat controls have just the right amount of heat, you have control to the amount of heat you use. What was especially important is the fact that it turns itself off, even if you forget to set the timer. It has worked very well on my spinal stenosis, on my lumbar region, and also on my knee and with my hands. I have severe neuropathy, and it does help my pain, and gives me a lot of pain relief by adding the heat either before or after icing. The design is also great, because the connecting button is in one corner, and the control comes from there , which also the electric plug in, but the button separates them so that you don't have a ton of wires in bed with you. ... show more

This thing is huge. I bought the 17" x 33". It's so soft. I like that it had a timer and seems to be consistently warm. I feel like 1 feels life almost no heat, what so ever. But other than that, it's pretty good.

I got the larger size and it's perfect to warm the foot of my bed. It would also work well for pain relief. I didn't want a full length heated mattress pad. The cord and is long enough to hide under the bed skirt and reach the outlet near my headboard, and the controller hangs over the side under the duvet unobtrusively. So, I could put it in place and leave it. The temp setting is super easy to use and understand, as is the timer. I love not having to wake up to turn it off. It has no smell. Seems good quality but if it doesn't last I'll be mad and will definitely come back to update my review. It's also very soft, pliable and a nice weight, but doesn't weigh down my feet. I put it between the top sheet and duvet so it stays in place and I don't end up kicking it aside while I sleep. Heats up quickly and level 3 is plenty hot. ... show more
