    • My new "go to" heating pad for lower back
Exceptionally large heating pad with massage function. If desired you can download a phone app to increase the built-in options available for controlling the heat and massage functions. Having an ancient phone that doesn't have room for anymore apps, I elected to stick with the basic built-in functions which, IMHO, are plenty. The heating pad comes with an extension belt for those of us (myself included) who are of the larger variety. I use the belt over sleep shorts and a thin t-shirt. That combo works well. In basic mode the heating pad has three heat settings and the second setting is plenty warm for me. I haven't used the highest setting. As for the massage function, it's better than any other massage belt I've used. The massagers are just little vibrating coils, it feels like the entire back of the belt is working. The heat function heats us very quickly and the belt automatically turns itself off after 30 minutes. When the belt arrived it was partially charged. I charged it until fully charged and have used it four times without having to recharge. In addition to the outstanding heat & massage functions, another beauty of the belt is that it's completely portable since it's working off an internal rechargeable battery. Not being tied down to a cord is a huge plus. The instruction booklet that comes with the device is clear and thorough.     • Great portable heating pad
Large Cordless Heating Pad with Massager: 79.99 at the time of review The older I get the more problems I seem to have with my back. Thankfully, it's not to the point where it totally shuts down. But I definitely have days where the heating pad benefits me. The only real problem I have with using a heating pad was the constraint of the cord. So when I saw a cordless version I jumped on it. *What I liked*: This thing is pretty simple to use. The controls on the device are limited, but it comes with an app to control it. That's actually kind of convenient. The heat feels great. I don't know about the massager settings. I mean, I tried them, I just don't know how effective they would be. They didn’t seem to be effective on me. But man I love having portable heat on my back. *What I didn't like*: The one complaint I have here is with regards to the price. At $80 at the time of review, it's pretty expensive compared to similarly sized competition. Now, I didn't account for whether the competition has app access or not. But if you're budget conscious, there are definitely less expensive options. *The Bottom Line:* I definitely love this thing! It frees me up to do things around the house and take care of little things here and there rather than just sitting down taking care of my back. It's easy to use, the options are plentiful with the app, and it lasts a reasonably long time before you have to charge it again. The only real I have is the price, as I don't feel it's necessarily the best value proposition. So my final score will be four stars out of five. This cordless back heating/massage pad rates high when compared with the numerous back devices I have tried. As full disclosure, I hate loading a bunch of random apps to my devices, so I did not test this pad using the available app. Nevertheless, even without the many app advantages offered, the pad truly impressed me. I appreciate that this company offers the option of using the pad with or without the app. It's completely functional just using the button built into the belt. I experienced both the heat and vibration features of this product. According to the literature provided with the pad, there are even more features available for those users who are willing to engage with the app. For example, with the belt buttons, I tested three levels of heat (all functioned well). The app offers 10 levels. I tested 3 vibration modes (nice variety), the app offers 5. And, finally, the belt has a default timer of 30 minutes, the app permits the user to choose from 10 to 60 minutes. With a secure velcro type closure and a comfortable fabric, this belt should fit most. It even includes an extender should it be needed for a wider girth. Overall, I was extremely happy and impressed by this device. Even without the added features offered by the app, I rate this 5 stars. ... show more

This gets hot very quickly! Almost surprising how quickly it heats up. The way it straps to your waste allows you to get a very tight fitment, almost like a back support brace. The massage feature to me isn’t the strongest. It is vibration based and honestly didn’t do too much for me personally. It does have multiple vibration modes to try out. I think the biggest positive over other similar devices like this the fitment. This is probably the only one of these belts I feel like you could wear around the house for hours and have it both heat and support your back in a positive way. There is a phone app, but I did not find the need to install this. The three-button controls are very easy to use and intuitive. This is an awesome massage pad. Unlike many others on the market you are always tethered to an electrical outlet. This is one of the first ones that I have seen that is truly wireless and runs on a rechargeable battery. It is super easy to use, make sure battery is charged, put the massage pad on the part of the body that is hurting, turn it on. You will get blasted with a nice sense of heat as well as a great massage. There are three different levels of heat and intensity of the massage for this device. I tweaked my back the other day and I wore this several times throughout the day and it has really helped in the healing process.
