Originally I got the smaller size, but returned it for this one. I like this size a lot better. It heats up nicely, but the massage function could be better. I don't like that it turns off after 15 minutes. The weight of the heating pad is nice and helps to alleviate some of my discomfort. I read a lot of reviews saying the product only lasted for about a year, so I got the 3 year warranty. To update: THE HEATING PAD STOPPED WORKING AFTER A WEEK. I AM FURIOUS! Update: The heating pad was definitely good the week it worked, so I was extremely disappointed when it stopped working. The customer service is top notch and they will take care of you in the event your luck is as bad as mine. I am leaving 5 stars based on the customer service.     • Weighted? Yes. Massages? Kind of. Heated? Not so much.

I have chronic back pain and as a result I've become a collector of good heating pads. My cousin recommended this one to me because it is weighted and weighted it is. In terms of providing comfort as a weighted object, it certainly does that. Just laying it on my back while it's off is a comfort. That's about where the positives stop. The massage function is there, but as many others have pointed out, it's really just vibration. Nothing rotates or kneads. It can be soothing and help with pain if you get the vibrating pieces in the exact right spot, but mostly, it doesn't add or detract from the heating pad. It is loud, but I'm not sure what people would expect of something that vibrates? Laying with a blanket over top of it or something really dulls the noise. As for the HEATING portion of the HEATING pad, total miss. Even on its highest setting and being given time to heat up as instructed, this thing gets warm at best. I have other heating pads that I can't even use at their highest settings because they're THAT hot, and this thing's highest setting doesn't get as hot as some of my other pads' lowest settings. I wanted to rate it higher for the quality and weight, but it's meant to be a heating pad and isn't. If I wanted a weighted blanket, that's what I would have gotten. My husband bought me the Sharper Image hot stone heating pad. And I loved it! But only after 6 months I had to replace it with this one. It is okay, but it does not get nearly has hot at the stone one. And it stated on much longer than this one. But beggars can't be choosers. It is not bad!
