These were a perfect fit to replace the glides on my office chair. It will roll completely across the concrete floor with very little effort. They look like a hard, clear silicone material that lets them roll silently on hard surfaces, but they do squish enough to slightly resist changes direction.

These caster wheels are an improvement over the original wheels that are over 30 years old. These wheels rolls smoothly and quietly. However, they are a bit stubborn and don't want to change direction easily. Another issue is probably due to the softer nature of the wheels, if I lean back, the back wheels seem to get compressed and will not roll. ... show more

Pretty much exactly what I wanted them to be. Replaced the cheap stock castors on my chair that started chipping away after several years. Tried the popular "rollerblade" style wheels and they were WAY too free. Basically impossible to stay still unless you're on carpet or some thick mat. Since these are styled in the classic way with two mini wheels, there's a little bit of stoppage while also having the really smooth feel of PU feet. Best of both worlds. Will update if there are any QC problems after extensive usage. ... show more

    • They move too easily.
As castors thay keep trying to turn and settle back into their rest state. This means sometimes the chair rolls back from the desk. Sometimes feels like chocks to stop the rolling are needed.

    • Better than the plastic in someways
These wheels have made rolling on a wood floor much easier for me, thanks to their excellent quality and design. The wheels and plastic materials feel sturdy and reliable. However, I did notice a strong initial odor reminiscent of a day-old burger and warm lettuce, which filled my room. Thankfully, the smell dissipated after about 30 minutes. While they work well on wood floors, I found that they tend to get stuck at times, requiring extra effort to get them rolling smoothly. Despite this minor inconvenience, overall, I find these wheels to be quite decent and effective for my needs. ... show more
