Wow! it was like night and day switching from the custom casters to these. The product FEELS and LOOKS sturdy and well made. The installation was quick and easy, really toolless. Depending on the chair you are installing them on and the condition of the hole, you might need a bit more force to push them in place. The experience after the change is really great. Smooth, obstruction-less gliding. No marks on the floor, (a huge plus) You should even be mindful of your movement with these wheels, it is so smooth and frictionless that you could go too quickly. They really are soundless and smooth gliding on my tiled floor. The 3inch height caused me to lower my chair a bit, but that is really not a big issue. These wheels are fantastic! They are approximately 3” in circumference and very heavy-duty, which allows you to move around the carpet quickly. I replaced the standard low-profile black wheels, and the process was simple. I firmly pulled the old ones out and popped the new ones in.

I bought these hoping that they would roll better than the factory wheels that was on my chair. My chair was on carpet and I'm too cheap to buy a plastic office cover for carpet. After getting these wheels and putting them on I realize that yes they do roll better than the other Wheels. But still not great. So I found a plastic mat that goes on carpet for cheap and bought it and the wheels are doing a lot better job. I'm sure these wheels do absolutely magnificent on a hardwood floor but they're not much better on a carpet floor. I recommend them if you got a hardwood floor not so much if you have a carpet floor of any thickness. ... show more

Works as intended. It did raise the overall height of my char slightly since these rollerblade style wheels were larger then the original manufacturer's wheels. I still love them.
