These were easy to replace. My old wheels original plastic wheels were worn out and black plastic chipping off from rolling on tile floor. These new wheels are great and glide smoothly and quietly across the floor.

My concrete floor finally started destroying my original casters on my drafting chair. I ordered these replacement wheels. Simple snap out (I used a flat head screw driver to assist me) and snap in replacement. What a world of difference. My chair rolls much easier, smoother and quieter than it ever has. I wish I had upgraded 9 1/2 years ago when I had bought the chair UPDATE 11/27/2024: I just LOVE how smooth and quiet my old chair moves across my concrete floor now!!! I have found that I need to be more careful in sitting down with these wonderful casters. If I am not careful, as I am sitting down my leg barely touches the chair and it rolls a foot or so away from me as I am sitting down. WOW! I am more than pleased with this upgrade. I highly recommend this upgrade, even if your chair is brand new!!! It is SO easy to move this chair - even when I have my full weight on it! ... show more

My office chair had a wheel blow out so I looked up roller bearing wheels and these popped up. I read through a lot of the negative reviews and it seems like they were having issues with the wheels turning and causing issues moving around. I am setup in my basement and have concrete floors so my review will only be helpful to those with hard floors as I could see these on carpet could be a bit sticky to move around. I did grease up the bearings around the shaft that goes into the chair and that seems to be helpful. I am really please with the smooth operation and quality of the wheels. If you have a hard surface for you office/computer room floor I can recommend these. ... show more
