The foot rest is not as bad as I first thought. It expanded within a few days, HOWEVER, it is not nearly as big as it apprears in the pictures. The models feet must be really small or they really embellished the size (must have been a man 🤣). It is very comfy for my feet and does the job of getting my legs up higher for the back of my legs and take pressure off my lower back. This is actually better than first reviewed. This came in a very small vacuumed package. It is not what the picture shows in the description at all. There is no curve to it at all. I am short so I was really hoping for something to relieve the pressure behind my knees when i sit in my home office, and this will not work for me. I should have read the reviews otherwise I would have kept on scrolling and found something better. Again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. ... show more

The footrest comes very tightly packed and inflates when you cut the plastic open. There is a strong smell when it first is unpacked, but otherwise is fine. The foam is soft.     • Works but not exactly as expected

This device isn't accurate to the pictures in a couple of ways. #1 - it's just 2 pieces of foam with a cover and some velcro. So it's very soft, but it's also somewhat squishy so if you have heavy legs your feet will sink into the foam. The foam does support the weight with some give. The photo is deceptive because the feet pictured are very small (child's?) feet and no give is shown. #2 there is no height adjustment mechanism. I'm not sure how to raise the height actually. You can unzip the top half-round piece from the bottom rectangle and insert something in the middle (book?, block of wood? Styrofoam?) but you'll have to supply that. Again, the photo / marketing is deceptive in that it claims some sort of height adjustment that is not actually present. Overall, it's working. I'm probably going to put a wood block / Styrofoam in there to raise it higher. But it is comfortable and does support my legs... mostly. ... show more

I bought this footrest for my husband originally and liked borrowing it from him so much that I bought my own! I do use the full size of the footrest (with the extra removable layer added on) and it's the perfect height and level of comfort for under my desk. It's truly amazing how much of a difference just a little boost with a footrest can make for ergonomics and comfort. I find that having my feet slightly elevated helps relief pressure from the backs of my legs and glutes, and that because of this, my circulation is better when I'm putting in long hours on the computer. Both footrests that I ordered came in air tight shrinkwrapped packaging and that they quickly plumped up to their full size. No odd smells or off-gassing either, so we could use them right away! ... show more
