We've purchased two of these, one for the wife and I and one for our daughter to use at her firm. They're super comfortable and the mounting straps work very well. My only gripe is the pillows are really small. At least for me, but I'm slightly larger than the average bear, that being 6-7, 250. Yeah, big and ugly, that's me. I would recommend this product and I have no doubt you'll be pleased with your purpose. I bought this a few weeks ago after a flight to Florida and a failure of a lumbar pillow left my lower back killing me. My husband and I got the Purple Harmony pillows back in the beginning of May and honestly, we’re obsessed and haven’t had more comfortable sleep, so we figured we’d give this cushion a try. I had it in time for my return flight a few days later and it was a life saver. It is so comfortable and my back felt 100x better than it did on the first flight.     • Doesn’t fit my chair very well

My chair’s shape doesn’t work with this product (it’s wide at the top and then narrows down) so no matter how tight I make the strap, it invariably ‘slips’ down after a while. If I move it to a different chair and just lean back on it, that works - but it still needs adjusting periodically.

This cushion is great for lumbar support; the gel structure is cooler and more resilient than a fiber-fill or memory-foam based product. I will likely buy another when I have extra income for other applications. I bought this with Purple's "Portable" cushion as their website suggests that cushion is good for tall people in small cars, though I didn't find that to be true. This back cushion however is a godsend for my Chevy Cobalt's poorly designed driver seat. Criticisms: My advice to purple: Please document what the loops on the back of the cover are for. There is no indication or documentation I could find that describes what to use them for or how to use them, although I found some generic text referencing a "handle" on this cover, which seems to be left over from another cushion. Logic tells me these loops are to secure the cushion to the seat with elastic bands or straps. While this was sold as "New" direct from Purple's Prime store, it did not come in a box like the Portable Cushion. This bothered me because I hadn't selected "no-hassle" shipping and the other cushion came with information about it. The cushion isn't affected by this shipping decision, but I would have appreciated a heads up. Receiving it without the packaging made it feel incomplete, especially when shipped next to the portable cushion. I felt like it was missing important information such as "Don't leave this in a 'superheated' car because it will deform if pressure is applied when heated above 105ºF" and perhaps straps to keep it in place on a seat-back. ... show more

I've been an Amazon customer since day one and I've purchased some pretty dumb things through the years and without question this is the dumbest purchase I've ever made on Amazon. To add insult to injury I purchased TWO of these stupid things. Basically it's a piece of a shower mat you stick in a fanny pack and strap on the back of your chair. It smells like cheap chemicals and barely holds in place. I've never felt so stupid and at $79.95 EACH??? I just threw away $160 plus tax on a bath mat and a fanny pack. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I feel.so ripped off and quite literally SCAMMED right now! Pure garbage! ... show more
