hahaha okay so I bought these for my office chair and well, it rolled TOO well for my needs. I sit in that and sometimes am cross-legged on a footstool with a leg/knee propped and pressed against the edge of the desk if you can picture that, and I couldn't do that anymore with these wheels on, LOL! I loved them though but needed some resistance for how I like to sit and returned them. Also yes, they're very quiet, roll smoothly, and fit as expected into my non-Ikea office chair. I would've kept them to replace my crafts table wheels if it didn't have the industrial poles to connect it. Oh and the seller reached out to me about it and was so kind but I went to try 3" singular wheels which seem to have a bit more resistance for my needs (the cracks in the wooden floor helps stabilize it too!). Sorry but thank you, seller! Anyway, if you like this design and want really smooth and rolly chairs or furniture, this is a solid choice! ... show more

These replaced plastic wheels on our office chairs. I liked them so much I bought 2 more sets for other chairs. They roll easy and quiet on our bamboo wood floors.

Nice and quiet, but a bit too rolly. These have more friction than roller blade type wheels, but I wish they had a clutch or more friction so once you had your chair set, it wouldn't roll so easily out of place.

Easy to install, the tricky part is getting the old wheels out of the chair, you need something to leverage and not damage the legs at the same time. Way softer, quiet and cleaner than the plastic ones. Recommended.

I got these to prevent scratching on the vinyl bc we’re renting. These glide across the floor easily, and are relatively quiet.

I work from home a lot and my home office is on the 2nd floor. My wife also works from home and she works on the main floor and she could hear just about every time I move my chair. I put down special chair carpet to alleviate sound transfer and that helped a little but she could still hear me. When I bought these and put them on we tested several scenarios where I tend to move position and she was very pleased with the result, so they make a big difference and honestly they are also easier to glide than the original ones that came with the chair -also look pretty cool too, as I got the clear ones. ... show more
