Could be a good "office" chair for you for light use. It's not large, fits me well (5'7" 135 lbs.) The seat is quite flat and not very padded. The back feels okay if you sit up straight like your mother told you to. It's not a chair to lounge in, or lean back in. It has a simple, workable seat height adjustment but no other adjustments. The arms are fixed and slightly padded, rudimentary but basically functional, inasmuch as I don't need armrests anyway when I'm using the chair at a small work table. It's essentially a second chair in my home office so I don't have to move my main office chair around from one work station to another. The metal legs are heavy-duty but the casters are inexpensive plastic and could be a weak spot. It went together easily and quite intuitively with IKEA-type drawings and minimal need for written directions. All in all, if you want a light-duty (not necessarily lightweight) swivel chair for occasional use that's easy to move around this could work for you. ... show more

This chair was really easy to put together, it took maybe ten minutes total. It's pretty lightweight, but the up and down cylinder works well. The only thing I would change is more padding on the arms. Rather than any real padding, there's really only a wrap of leather over the metal pipe that makes the arm rest. It looks nice and sleek, but it's not that comfortable. The seat itself is comfortable though and looks really well made. Overall, it's a good chair. ... show more
