We bought 6 of these chairs to use as dining table chairs. The chairs come well packaged and are very easy to assemble. the seats are very comfortable and the material seems to be good quality. During unpacking we found one chair had a tear on the side of the seat, most likely caused by mishandling during shipment. We contacted the supplier via the e-mail address on the instruction manual. I have had this chair for a while, and it is comfortable for the price. They do have 2 issues: The chair's wheels are not good quality. I have broken about 6 of them already and I am not a heavy person. I end up buying a replacement set of wheels from another vendor, sturdier and that issue was fixed. This chair is much more comfortable than I expected. Get it and have zero regrets. That said, I have a couple install tips to pass on: Follow the picture diagram, up to installing the arm rests. At that point: 1) Do NOT snug them fully to the chair seat. They need to be a little loose. 2) After attaching the two arm rests loosely to the chair, time to attach the back rest. 3) Lay it face down on the chair seat . 4) Then attach two bolts to the two lowest connections of the chair back. **Due to the snugness of where the back rest meets the seat, this is the only way to work it. 5) Once all four bolts are affixed to the chair back, tighten them and the four bolts in the arm rests. Seriously folks, this is a super nice chair. And leather has no foul smell. Enjoy! ... show more

My uncle had a chair much like this for 6 or more years of daily use. He gave it to me and it lasted about another 6 years of daily use as both of us worked out of our houses in front of our PCs. My next chair was some cheap ergonomic chair that fell apart in no time. When I saw this 400lb chair I wondered if it was the same company / model chair that I got from my uncle. I'm only 250lbs but I wanted something that would last. I ordered it and it seemed similar. I could immediately tell there wasn't the same amount of padding and the height adjustment mechanism really seemed really cheap. Since I owned my uncle's chair, I had also started using a laptop & tablet so I wasn't sitting in front of my office PC very much at all. Instead of 12 or more hours a day, it might be more like 8 hours a week or less. In just a few months of chair use, the padding on my mouse hand armrest flattened to nonexistence. I also needed to buy an extra seat cushion almost immediately. Within 9 months of barely weekly use, the "heavy duty high-end hydraulic gas cylinder" for height adjustment broke. I wasn't even sitting in it. I came home and my chair seemed low. I sat in it, raised it up and could immediately feel it lowering slowly. But golly gee I'm in luck! I see now there is an entire industry for replacing these things that used to last for decades and now only last for months. I wonder if Amazon's AI can predict when these will fail and have a subscription handy so I can keep buying this garbage again & again & again? For 35 cents more the manufacturer can make the part last for a decade or more. But instead they are intentionally making critical parts disposable. ... show more

Obviously I needed a new chair. Most chairs will only really hold 150 - 250 pounds, if you are heavier than that, the Hydraulics will go out and will not stay upward. This is day one. Seems like a strong chair, not as soft as my old one. I am thinking after a month or two it will be just fine. Easy to put together, not as strong or wide as my other one, but still comfortable. It leans back really far and could tip over if not careful. No problem for me. My last 4 chairs cost over $350, therefore to see this big and tall 400Pd chair for under $100, I had to try it. Well worth the money thus far. You can feel the difference between this chair and a $400 Chair, but still worth it :-). ... show more

The chair arrived very quickly and everything I needed to assemble the chair was included. At first I was a little disappointed Prime Shipping was included but at the time I bought mine I was able to apply a $15 coupon which covered the price. The instructions where easy to understand. I recommend taking your time, spread everything out and make sure everything is tight but not over tightened before you use. Not only is the chair very comfortable but it feels is extremely solid and the wheels roll effortlessly. This is a huge upgrade from my old beat up office chair. What an incredible value especially when you consider what is available for a similar price at other retailers. I highly recommend! One tip I highly recommend it to put on some kind of leather protector on the chair right after your assemble it. I used Armor All. Materials can get dry even sitting in a ware house and this little tip can help rejuvenate the leather. ... show more

This was a very nice upgrade from my other ergonomic chair. I like that the arm rest pad is about an inch thick and you can feel the cushion. The seat is a nice cushion. It was very easy to assemble. They had 1 extra bolt and screw. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The arm rest is a solid plastic and it feels sturdy. At a glance, it does look like cheap plastic, but once everything is assembled, it feels very sturdy. It has a nice glossy cherry brown leather. The air lift worked very well. This chair is a perfect fit for my size, 5'4" at 170 lbs. The previous chair was a bit wider seat. I would say if you are over 200 lbs, this chair may be a bit tight. ... show more
