For the record, I haven't tested this suit out in pouring rain for an extended period of time, but I went out for a bit in a heavy drizzle, and I stayed dry. The material is really light weight - feels really soft like a mix between the sun protection shirts and a windbreaker jacket. It is so thin that I had no doubts about how well it would do in the rain, but I was fairly impressed. It definitely won't make you too warm. I love the little pouch/bag it comes with to cram it all in for storage or to just throw it in your car. Zippers work well. Seems to be fairly well made. This is definitely not the rain suit you'd want for heavy duty water protection but it's good for the occasional normal to light conditions. For what it is, I recommend. ... show more

What can I say I was pleasantly surprised. I have not had to use it yet, but bought it for the possibility of being caught out while hunting or fishing. This seems to be well put together and lightweight.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really good set of protective rain gear. Fits well over clothing, and cuff around the wrist and ankle area to prevent water from seeping in. Easily packed away and carried...👍

I went to an NFL game and got soaked so decided to get these. Of course it's not raining these days so I did the next best thing: I donned the suit and went under the shower. I can honestly report that it's waterproof. I did get some water down from the neck area. Some of the blame is that my shower comes down at an angle, while rain usually comes down straight, though on windy days that's not true, but most rainy days the water's not pouring down on you the way it does in a shower. It's baggy, but that's a good thing as outside you want to have clothing under it. It's very lightweight and thin though I can't tell you what it would feel like on a warm, humid summer day. But because it's so thin, it's easily folded up and carried around in case you run into a rain storm. It comes in a little bag, though I haven't tried to get it back into it as the suit's still drying out in my bathtub.
