I have eczema not real bad but I have found that icing is the best way to I soothe my hand. It's only my left hand and this product seems to fit the bill I like the little insert that it comes with it you can put your fingers in with the mitt or I've been just using it sometimes by itself cuz it's a little less bulky . The mit stays very cold in fact I usually have to leave it out for a bit so it doesn't feel so stiff and it's easier to put my hand in there. I would recommend this ... show more

This is a great ice pack for your shoulder. It is great to use on your shoulder if you do not have to ice your shoulder through any bandages. I did find that with thick bandages on…this ice pack wasn’t much help for me. The ice pack was easy to secure using the straps. I did not find that the ice pack leaked at all. As a helpful tip: when putting it in freezer I would suggest storing in a storage plastic bag. As without one freezer burn starts to happen on ice pack and is kinda annoying when you go to ice your shoulder. When using the plastic bag this didn’t happen. I’m going to be straight up & say that when I opened the box, I thought they’d sent the wrong item. I almost didn’t even open it & was going to send it back. I received striped covers rather than the pink. I am glad I didn’t go by an assumption! Upon opening the actual product, yes, I received stripes (which is great; I love stripes & they look better than hot pink!) but what impressed me was the quality of the covers & of the cold/hot packs themselves. The packs are made of a thicker material than other ice packs. It’s a very thick, sturdy feeling fabric—not the plastic stuff or an extremely thin linen like my other microwave pack. The covers are soft, easy to put on & off and while I’ve yet to wash them, they appear easy to clean. I thought the price was high for what it’s marketed as, however, now that I have them, I’d absolutely buy again. They are easy to fit on your chest & as someone who definitely isn’t a small bra size, they are easily big enough. I did see that one person mentioned the card that comes with them & wasn’t sure whether to trust the reviews. After receiving it, I would say, please do trust the positive things people have said! Unlike many of the other cards I’ve received in various purchases, this company doesn’t even make any request for you to review at all—much less do it positively. They only say something like, ‘please consider us the next time you need ice packs for injuries, headaches, etc. as we are a small family owned company.’ I prefer to support small businesses & I’m leaving a review because I was pleasantly surprised & believe they’re absolutely worth they money. The quality is absolutely there & now learning they’re a small business makes me even happier I didn’t go by my first impression. Edit: After looking at the other reviews more carefully, I think I got the wrong covers completely. The ice packs are correct, but the covers are solid. Perfect for new moms like myself. Those first days of engorgement with my milk coming in were honestly so painful so I immediately was looking for some kind of relief. These were perfect. They fit right in your bra and stay cold a decent amount of time. Helps with swelling and just feels soo nice! Definitely recommended! Super easy to use as well. I have only used them frozen but I know you can also use them to warm the breast as well so I will have to give that a try! ... show more

Pros: The cold gel pack was really nice right after birthing and getting back into the painful joy of breastfeeding. I used it about 10 times for that. Cons: when I finally needed them for heat when baby started changing feeds around 3 months and blocked ducts started I followed directions and was very gentle with my packs. I never went from extreme cold to heat and I thoroughly and evenly dispersed the beads in the gel pack. Made sure to wait between 10 second microwave intervals. Mine still came out after the first 20 seconds damaged and leaky on the same spot on each. Bummer. I don’t think they’re truly made to withstand microwave heat. I’ll still keep them for cold use and I like the covers that come with them, really comfy. Covers can even be kept to use for other brand gel packs in the future. My fav thing about these is the shape. I like how the top portion curves to cover the upper part of the breast that is often neglected with other gel packs. ... show more
