I don’t usually write product reviews but I had to for this!!!! I have had painful headaches with so much pressure in my head and this makes it feel so much better!!! I took it out of the package and put it on immediately and I’m never gonna take it off!!! The best part is the coverage. I’ve broken my nose multiple times and this even helps with my nose pain. I was desperate for relief from this pressure so I set my expectations pretty low and this exceeded my expectations by soooo much!!! I bought this on a whim when it was on sale for black Friday and was waiting to review it when I had a migraine. That hasn't popped up but I like it so much I figured I'd write a review anyway. The slight cool pressure it puts on my face helps me fall asleep faster at night. I find that it slips off in the middle of the night but that's okay because then it's usually cool again if I do wake up in the middle of the night. I find that this doesn't have to be refrigerated to be enjoyed. It is cool to the touch and doesn't get "hot" from being on your head. Having said that, it doesn't feel nearly as pleasant if it has been warmed before hand, like from accidentally laying on it. Freezing it makes it much too cold to wear continuously. I think it would be sufficiently cool from the fridge to alleviate migraines. I can't wait to try it out in the summer when it's so hot here. I already had to buy another one because my daughter kept filching mine. ... show more

Ice cold. Soft. Thick. Pliable. Lasts roughly 20 minutes. The opening at the top is a bit too open, not allowing the cold gel to touch the top where migraine pain is also present. Had to hold it there, which defeats the purpose of convenience and ease. Otherwise, it works great. It came with a thick quality freezer bag but mine had a warped and twisted edge so the zip did not zip. Keeping the freezer smells from the ice cap is a must when u r sensitive with a migraine. Contacted Shane two or 3 times and every time he promised he would send a replacement---ghosted me, never did. I would prefer honesty and integrity---if u don't want to sent it, say no. Don't lie and say it is on the way and be deceptive. Ice cap was a good product but I will buy from another vendor next time.. there r many others with similar products. The lack of integrity left a bed impression. Was he simply waiting out the 30 day return window, I don't know. Either way, minus a star for that. I have always had headaches and migraines so I took the chance and ordered these and I am so impressed with the mask. I keep them(I bought 2) in the freezer to be ready when I have a headache/migraine and most ice packs get hard and uncomfortable when kept in the freezer but these stay so soft and fit around my head perfectly and you can even pull the mask over your eyes which is awesome when you have a migraine because I have to get in a room and go completely dark. I recommend this for anyone who has migraines/headaches. ... show more

The actual cold cap works really well for headache's. Unfortunately the plastic bag zipper had fallen apart upon arrival. So I just put it in a gallon ziplock storage bag and put it in the freezer. I have a large head, and the cap covers my eyes and all the way down the back of my skull. Really like the cap. 👍 So cold I had to let it sit for a few minutes before using it. Works awesome. Feels great, but my migraine doesn't really go away with it. It feels good while on. It is way heavier than I expected. Lifting it off the porch after delivered, I was thinking it was something else. I keep it in the freezer in its bag. I found its too cold to put directly over the eyes. Wait til it warms a bit, before doing so, or put cloth between eyes and the mask. Side note, makes my sister laugh at me when wearing it. Says I look like The Fly from the movie, when it's over my eyes. She took silly photos of me wearing it, which I won't share here, but it's brought us loads of laughter. She has it as my contact photo in her phone so she can laugh every time we chat. 😆 I do recommend this product, as it feels good while it's on. The pressure is good as well. ... show more
