I’m a trades guy that loves to cook. I have had 3 different stone nonstick sets, in about 4 years. 2 sets I have given to friends because we all liked them so much, cooking with me.(Why not? They’re friends) I have stainless pans for browning, favored over non stick for that. But, when I’m doing crepes, omelets, or items that always stick to older non stick and other pans, these are the only thought I have. And so good for that purpose, you will usually find me bragging on them, as o cook. I really like to take care of things, especially tools. To me these are tools. I have a cooking oil cloth, that I always have at the ready, I use to wipe the inside of pans after cleaning and before using, for just a very quick wipe. These are slick (both meanings), for as long as I’ve own them with, at least twice, daily use. Keep the flame about an inch from the sides, bottom curves, when cooking and I’ve found you won’t discolor the sides, like most pans. And, that’s the highest heat you’ll ever need to use in these pans. They are made to utilize less heat, which I’ve found makes my nonstick sets last longer anyway, and you won’t get hot handles that way, as well. Why don't all skillet's have a vented lid? Seriously! You don't always need a lid but when you do your trying to find one from some other pot that fits good enough to cover, and then it's not vented so crap spits all over the stove. We use this size of pan daily. Love it. The only draw back is the bottom of the pan is hard to keep clean. I have to clean the bottom to make sure it doesn’t transfer the grim to my my new electric cook surface. I clean it after every use.

The pan interior is top notch, the look is gorgeous. My only complaint is the weight of the handle. It's heavy and on my gas stove grates, if not placed perfectly, it will tip towards the handle side.

    • Seems to work, but stove reacts oddly

This frying pan was supposed to be good on an induction cooking stove. While it does work, it reacts a little strangely. That is to say that it will only work on one specific burner. It is an extra small burner on which the pan actually goes slightly OVER the pictured coils. It doesn't seem to want to work on the larger burner which would cover ALL of the bottom of the fry pan. I am just trying to cook a couple of breakfast eggs, so I am just glad that it works at all. It is difficult to find the correct size fry pan for our specific induction heat stove. I do like the handle of this new fry pan. It feels really good in your hand. I don't like induction cooking. There is nothing to gain there as far as I am concerned. ... show more
