  • This nonstick pan works!
I was skeptical as to how well this pan would work. We have an induction top range and I wanted to try this pan. We love eggs over easy, but sometimes with my stainless steel pans they would stick. (Even after preheating and oil). So I ordered the HexClad 12" pan and I have had no problem with anything sticking so far. It is high quality and very easy to clean. We use it daily and I will be buying the full set. ... show more

  • Pricey but so worth it!
I had been watching this pan for weeks after seeing it on a random cooking show. The fact that Gordan Ramsey is a spokesperson didn't really influence my buy, however it didn't hurt it either. This was by far the most expensive pan that I have ever purchased in over 30 years of amateur cooking as I've almost exclusively used stainless steel. New pan, wear it out, replace it with a new one process. I finally got this pan, and I am kicking myself for waiting so long. I can honestly say it truly is the best of non-stick cooking and stainless-steel cooking merged into a single pan. Heats up and stays hot like a stainless-steel pan but has the moderate non-stick properties of a traditional non-stick pan. I seasoned it as instructed before the first use and its been perfect cooking ever since. It can be washed with soap and water, metal utensils DO NOT scratch, and if there is a burnt or stuck item, you can even use some steel wool. Try doing that with a standard non-stick pan! I'm going to be getting at least the 10" and 8" pans and potentially the Wok over the next couple months. I hope this will be the last set of pans I have to buy. ... show more

  • Gotta love a non-stick pan in stainless steel
I am writing this review after purchasing all the skillets, griddle, wok, and 1 qt. saucepan, over 6 months. So, here's the thing. You pay a hefty price for a stainless steel, non-stick pan/skillet, so it behooves you to not treat said pans with care, and not let the care slip, it's only then (if you ignore common care) that you will/might have problems with this product. I did the initial seasoning as required, and then after about every 3 times I use the pan, I heat up the pan/skillet, add about a Tsp or less, depending on the size of the pan, of avocado oil, swish it around, get a paper towel (I use VIVA, more cloth like) then use a pair of thongs and wipe the oil all over. I then let the pan continue to heat up for about another 2-3 min. only then, do I continue on with my cooking. This method only adds about 5 minutes to my routine for the what I'm making. A small price to pay to keep the pans in good cooking shape. With all that being said, I really like all the skillets/pan that I got. With the method that I described, they have all remained non-stick with no problems. And I ALWAYS hand wash the pans. The wok is great for making stews, soups and of course stir fry's. The 8", 10", 12", 12" griddle are all great for a variety of meals depending on what you're making. And the 1qt. sauce pan is perfect for single serve soups. The bonus is that the 12" lid also fits the 12" wok, A win-win... I already have all-clan 2,4,7 qt. sauce pans, so for now, I won't be getting any more saucepans. Bottom line is - if you are on the fence about spending your hard earned bucks on these pans, as long as you use common sense to keep these pans in a good state, you won't regret the purchase...😊 ... show more

  • Best Nonstick Pan in my long journey
I eat eggs nearly every morning and I like to cook stir fry or sear meat. These two different heat ranges has made finding a single nonstick pan somewhat difficult. I found nonstick pans work for my needs last only a year before the inside middle starts to brown. And there would inevitably be scratches in the pan because my housemates would use metal utensils to cook with or cut the meat when I instructed them to only use my silicone cooking utensils. So in light of my predicament and yearly cost, I wanted to find a pan with a better return upon investment. So far, I love this pan. It can handle any heat, is nonstick, has not discolored, and metal doesn't scratch it. The pan is heavier which is why I think it has a better contact surface. Heat conduction and distribution seems even and I cook on an electric stove (though I much prefer gas to cook with). I can tell from tge pancakes I've made with it. It hasn't scratched the top of my glass electric stove top either, but I'm careful to not shake it around like a wok on the stove top. I lift it up off the stove to toss veggies being cooked. Clean up is stupid easy with the pan. While it is safe to go in the dishwasher, I can easily hand wash it without hard scrubbing. While I haven't had this pan for a year yet, but if it lasts me at least 2 years, then I've definitely gotten my money's worth and will be buying another. ... show more

  • Not worth the money, non-stick surface is problematic, despite following guidelines.
UPDATE 8/2022 I have just finished with Amazon customer service, who charged me a $26 restocking fee to return this defective frying pan. I'm REALLY not happy about that either. ——— I've been seeking a great nonstick set of skillets that live up to the promise. Recurrently I've been disappointed, and sadly, even with HexClad, there's a bit of disappointment. I greatly respect Chef Gordon Ramsay, and his endorsement of HexClad is what persuaded me to spend so much of a nonstick skillet. I liked the technology using laser etched design to create a porous sort of floating barrier to protect the nonstick later. However, I can't say I'm totally satisfied with the nonstick function. HexClad isn't able to fry an egg without sticking to the surface—that's a fact, jack. The other factors of satisfaction are more or less favorable, even heat distribution though it has turned out to not be as easy to keep clean as promised. I would definitely NOT pay for an entire set of HexClad. I guess I'm still on the lookout for the ultimate nonstick skillet, though I realize such a thing may not really exist in this world. ... show more

  • Best pan ever
Bought this single pan for my husband for his birthday to try it out. It is scratch. Resistant is nice and thick and heavy. It heats easily. You can use metal and wood or plastic utensils on it. It cleans up very nicely. We liked it so much that we bought a set from the website. Will be buying some pots from them next. ... show more
