The quality and name is what you pay for here and if you cook a LOT, it's worth it. If your looking for non stick, then you'll be disappointed and need to decide to cook on harmful chemicals that will eventually flake off into your food. The coating on this pan does help with sticking, but nothing that is good for you will ever be truly non stick. Use some high quality oil and after your done cooking but before the pan is cool, pour water into it to help with the cleaning. Also get some Bar Keepers Friend and keep it handy for cleaning. I love this brand and this pan. We use it almost everyday and it's the "go to pan" for our regular everyday cooking. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I don’t believe this is worth the money because the weight of the handle does not support the weight of the pan. It is very heavy and as you can see they said it was used not broken or damaged. I paid a discounted price but I’m sending this back. Update after a year of use I seasoned this skillet 6 times in the oven recently. It takes seasoning very well. This skillet is very good and worth the money. Prior Review After using this skillet for the last few months, it took a seasoning and became non stick. I was able to slide eggs right out of the pan and cook delicate fish with no problem. Love the heat retention of cast iron! I’m new to cast iron but I’ll never go back to any other way of cooking! We have a gas cooktop and always use low or medium low heat and everything turns out perfect with minimal sticking. Awesome pan - I use it all the time from cooking Salmon to making a Frittata. This is a very versatile pan that goes from stove top to oven. I don't put soap on it just water to clean and then rub with a little olive oil. I love all my Le Creuset pans!
