These are solid cast iron pans, I have had them for just over a year now and they work really well. My only issue with them is they are smaller than I expected. The smallest pan is good for maybe one egg at a time at best and the largest pan could fit one smaller to medium sized steak. Ran into this issue on many occasions where I was cooking for my wife and I but couldn’t use these pans as they were not big enough for me to cook both pieces of meat on at the same time. I love to use these for myself I have had no issues cleaning them and nothing seems to stick especially if you use a little oil of your choice. They come up to temp relatively fast and they look much more stylish then most cast iron pans! ... show more

I am very happy with this set. It came promptly. While it is pre-seasoned, I decided to season them again as it did not take long. So far, I have only used the 10 inch pan to grill some steaks indoors. It worked well, but in the future, I will probably used them outdoors on a gas grill as the steaks gave off an incredible amount of smoke. I am happy that our smoke detectors did not go off. Also, I have another similar skillet with ridges in the pan. I prefer this for steaks as the ridges gives you sear marks on the steaks as long as you let the pan heat up prior to putting down your steaks. The handles become very hot after use, so I will be ordering silicone handles for my pans. ... show more

but the pans look untouched and new. I will update at a later date. As far as cheaply priced cast iron go this is not to bad. Alot of the reviews are horrible and I'm not sure if it's user error or bad products yet. Still I bought it and so far I have no trouble also praying for the best as I just used the tiniest skillet to fry a egg with cheese and it came out well. Is this high quality cast iron with good preseason no of course not but it's a good set and I can always bake a good season on them later but I do feel that after holding and looking if this set is not taking care of it could crack easily that said In my part as soon as I took the little skillet out I put on the hot water on the tap and a drop of dish soap to clean it I scrubbed gently with only my fingers and fingernails after which I dabbed dry with a paper towel. I put the burner in the lowest heat and let it dry out any excess water then I put a tablespoon of butter and a teaspoon of oil to heat up and then fryed my egg the egg didn't stick but the cheese I let melt on top did leave some residue but that was easy to scrub off with my fingernails and some hot water. After the scrub I once again dabbed dry and finish dry it on low heat on the burner for a minute. After I took a few drops of oil in the still warm pan and wiped it down. I used my finger but for those who don't want to hold a warm skillet use a cloth like linen or cotton that you will dedicate for using on your cast iron. As of now new cast iron if declared preseasoned is to be taken with a grain of salt, use your cooking oils no new cast iron is truly non stick that takes weeks of use and maintenance. Take it from someone who lived in a house with cast iron dutch oven and pot older than they are. The instructions are there and while basic is useful and will help if followed. YouTube also has great cast iron care videos. Also chainmail scrubbers save cast iron lives and fingers lol. ... show more
