  • Great quality & versatility
Color: Black
This 3-piece cast iron skillet set is a kitchen game-changer. The skillets are durable, pre-seasoned, and perfect for everything from searing to baking. The heat distribution is excellent, and the three sizes cover all cooking needs. They do require some care, but proper maintenance keeps them in great shape. A bit heavy, but that’s expected with cast iron. Overall, a fantastic value and highly recommended for any home cook! ... show more

  • Happy with this purchase!!
Color: Black
I decided to purchase cast iron skillets because I was tired of buying new panware every few years. I’m so glad I did!! They’re lightweight compared to Lodge cast iron (I have a large skillet). The instructions tell you to season twice before using. They’re already pre-seasoned, so I did this once. The trick is to preheat your skillet in a 400° oven (204.45° C) for 3-4 minutes for anything you’d like to cook. For scrambled eggs, preheat the skillet in the oven. If you have an electric oven, heat up the top burner at medium heat, maybe a minute or so before the skillet is done heating in the oven. Put a little oil in your skillet, and heat until a sprinkle of water dances on the skillet surface. Place your eggs in the skillet and turn off the burner. Eggs are the arch nemesis to cast iron, but this method really works! No sticking, and any little spots that did stick wipes away easily. You may keep the burner on low with sunny side or over easy, but you can find what works best for you. For bacon, place parchment paper in a large skillet and place the bacon on top. Place the cold skillet in the oven and preheat to 400°. When it comes up to temp, bake for about 10-15 minutes. While the oven is preheating, the bacon renders the fat. I find the heat distributes evenly and honestly, cooked food just tastes better in cast iron. There’s a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using and caring for cast iron, but it’s so worth it. ... show more

  • Smaller than expected
Color: Green
These are solid cast iron pans, I have had them for just over a year now and they work really well. My only issue with them is they are smaller than I expected. The smallest pan is good for maybe one egg at a time at best and the largest pan could fit one smaller to medium sized steak. Ran into this issue on many occasions where I was cooking for my wife and I but couldn’t use these pans as they were not big enough for me to cook both pieces of meat on at the same time. I love to use these for myself I have had no issues cleaning them and nothing seems to stick especially if you use a little oil of your choice. They come up to temp relatively fast and they look much more stylish then most cast iron pans! ... show more

  • The "preseason" is a fad - sticky and rusty
Color: Black
This isn't my first rodeo with cast iron pans. This nifty little triplet come in different sizes, with the smaller two hardly being big enough to fit anything more than one or two fried eggs in. Oh, and they're pretty hefty (but manageable). Size often doesn't matter, it's what you can do or want to do with it, obviously. However, I used only the largest pan. They come "preseasoned" that makes it appear and the average person think that it's ready to use out of the box; but do not be fooled by this claim. I put it to the test and used the largest pan right out of the box - the meat was sticking and left an awful residue on the bottom of the pan. I scrubbed it until what seemed like my fingers would bleed and finally got it to a point where I thought it was clean. Onto the next trial! I stripped the pans. And then I reseasoned them quite a few times over a 12 hour period, and then once more the next day. Yes, the smell was not nice but I figured these seemed durable and well made so might as well give them a second chance. I tried the same meal later, unfortunately same issue - things sticking to the bottom and making it nearly impossible to clean. I've never had a problem with cast irons sticking so much. Not sure what's up with these, but preseason or self season didn't seem to want to stick on the pan. ... show more
