It does, however, take a little longer to heat up than say an aluminum pan does, but that’s minor. It comes disassembled and you have to attach the handles but I thought it weird that a screwdriver comes with it. I mean, who doesn’t have a screwdriver? Great pan for cooking anything you want and food doesn't stick to pan. Don’t cook on high heat though, it can ruin the coating in the pan. It’s light weight big enough to make a big meal and cleans up easily. Love the color!

This is a great pan. The size is good for large cooking and the depth is what I really like because it keeps things from splattering out of the pan. The non-stick works well (I hand wash and do not use abrasive sponges). It's also nice because it has two handles since it gets heavy when full. OK, obviously this is not the most expensive pan on the market. I own quite a few and have spent hundreds of dollars on some of them. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting too much when I purchased this one… But I'm happy to report I was pleasantly surprised. In fact I like it so much I went back and purchased a second one. It has a great nonstick surface, is well made and the lid fits tightly. The only negative for some is it is a heavier pan. I have no problem with it, but my elderly mother has trouble lifting it.
