Top Amazon Reviews

  • Literally, the best pans on the market.
Style: Pan + Lid Size: 10-inch
I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews — you all don’t know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these — everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan. I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long I’ve used Lodge cast iron pans. Don’t get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didn’t disappoint. Plus they’re so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze. Let me give anyone who reads this a few tips: #1 Follow the directions given in the package. #2 Please, put a buffer between what you’re cooking and the pan. I use beef tallow, lard, or ghee. And please whatever you do, stay away from seed oils. Not only are they extremely unhealthy for you but their high heat points can’t cut it like natural fats. #3 Cook on low to medium heat. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll be surprised at how well these pans heat up. #4 When using any stainless steel utensils, don’t dig into the pan or use a fork with the tines down scraping the bottom, or doing the same thing with a knife, or ….. you get the point. See what I did there? Point? And lastly #5 …… refer back to #2 and you won’t go wrong. Watching some of the videos where someone is cooking scrambled eggs without a buffer — what did you think was going to happen!? SMH Happy cooking! Update: I have used this pan for just about everything and I absolutely love it. It has literally became my favorite pan. Cooking is fun once again and the food tastes better. The ergonomics of the pan handle helps as it stays cool. But don’t put your pan in the oven at 500° and then grab it by the handle because your’re itching for a burn you don’t want. This pan is a little heavier than what most of you are use to with your Teflon pans; that’s because they’re made from quality materials. I am disappointed they’re made in China, but they are designed and planned here in the US. So the reason for writing this update is, and as I stated earlier, I really love this pan. So much so I purchased the complete set. Everyone has their own set of pans they love, and all I’m doing is giving you my two cents worth. As of right now 11.21.2024, Hexclad has their Black Friday sale. Check them out as you won’t be disappointed. Happy cooking! ... show more

  • Outstanding - nearly perfect
Style: Pan + Lid Size: 10-inch
Firstly, it’s the best cookware I’ve ever used and I’ve used many over the past 40 years. It’s not perfect, I’ll get to that. It handles high heat really well. It’s solid but not too heavy. My favorite thing about it is the ease of flipping eggs and pancakes due to the design shape of the edge. I use metal utensils with very little concern. I wash it in the dishwasher with no problem. The handle stays cool on the stove. The heat is very evenly spaced along the bottom. The bottom is nonstick which is a huge plus for me because my other pans look tore up on the bottom. It’s honestly my favorite pan and it inspires me to cook more. I wish I had more Hexclad. BTW, this isn’t a paid review or sponsored or anything. I paid full price for this pan. So, after all that, and under very close examination, after several uses, here is the rub: I am beginning to see wear to the anti stick coating in between the raised metal bumps. It’s very slight and I can see it won’t be a problem for several years however I do not believe it will last a lifetime. Time will tell. ... show more

  • HexClad Fry Pan is an excellent all-round purchase
Style: Pan Size: 10-inch
HexClad is the best pan that I have ever used. It sits flat on my electric stove and cooks evenly on lower heat. I love that it is scratch resistant. I bought the 10" size and it works well for most of my needs. HexClad cleans up well with a scouring pad or sponge. While it does cost a little more, I don't think that I'll have to buy another one if I take care of this one. I'm tired of buying cheaper coated pans that last a year and then throwing them out in a year. Best buy that i've made recently. ... show more

  • Durable, heats up well, easy to clean
Style: Pan Size: 12-inch
This is the best frying pan I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a lot of non-stick, cast iron, and carbon steel pans. None of them work as well as this Hexclad 12 inch sauté pan. It heats up very fast, makes great sear on meats, cleans up easily, and you can use metal utensils on this pan. I will only be using Hexclad from now on. ... show more

  • The best non stick fry pan
Style: Pan Size: 10-inch
Saw these Hexclad pans on Hells Kitchen and decided to try it out. It is wonderful. Can cook steaks in it on high heat and it can go in the oven and dishes washer. Very easy cleanup.

  • So far, it's a great pan...
Style: Pan + Lid Size: 10-inch
I've only used this pan a few times, but so far, I'm very happy. I followed the instructions for seasoning. I've cooked steak, chicken, lamb, and eggs at medium on a gas stove. The pan cooks as well as advertised and cleans up easily. There was an issue cooking eggs over easy, even after cooking bacon and hash browns first. I had not added any more oil or butter to the pan, and the eggs stuck. Still, the pan was cleaned up by just running hot water over it. I've just ordered the 10" wok. I purposely did not order a set because it contains pans that I would rarely use. The 10" frying pan and wok are good for me because I'm only cooking for 1 or 2 people. Overall, I would recommend Hexclad. The Costco-branded pans may be just as good, but I would rather pay the extra money and get something that will probably last longer. ... show more

  • Good, not GREAT!
Style: Pan + Lid Size: 12-inch
It's a good frying pan; it's not a great frying pan...particularly for the price. It stains easily which requires cleaning with an SOS pad (or similar) and some Bar Keepers Friend cleanser. There are probably better, more economical options on the market.

  • Rolled Edge not non-stick
Style: Pan + Lid Size: 8-inch
The non-stick inner surface performed very well - better than I ever expected. I seasoned it per the instructions and it has performed very well, with a wide variety of food types, some of which stick to all the other non-stick pans that I own (from 4 high end vendors). My only problem is with the rolled edge. On my other brand pans, the non-stick surface extends all the way to the outer edge of the rolled pan edge. With the Hexclad, the non-stick only covers the interior of the pan, with the rolled edge plain stainless steel. If you pour food out of the pan, the food tends to stick to the stainless steel rolled edge, which defeats the purpose of "non-stick". Other than that I really like the saucepan. ... show more
