I’m writing this review to help those still unsure if these are the pots for them. I was really nervous when I bought these pans as they are a significant investment. I always read the worst reviews first and then read the better reviews. I’m not sure that’s the best approach but because some thought these weren’t the best, I thought for a bit before I purchased. Then I read outside reviews, from cooking magazines, consumer reports, etc and that made me take the plunge. Just so you know, I kept the boxes for an entire month without throwing them away in case I had to return. Then I used them for 6 weeks before I’m writing this review. So you know this is a well thought out and informed review. All that to say, these pans are wonderful. I think people just aren’t cooking with them as instructed. I had never cooked on just low to medium heat so not sure I would like that or it would take too long. The reality is it takes very little additional time because the pans conduct heat so efficiently. I use only silicon tools and hand wash with just a paper towel and dish soap, then hand dry. I store them with the pot protector felt pads that came with the set, as well as additional ones I purchased to make sure pots were protected. The reality is these pots cook like a dream, are easy to clean, nothing has stuck in them and zero chipping or scratching. I’ve used them in the oven and on the stove. I’m sure eventually they will show signs of use, as all well used cooking utensils do, but right now they look good as new. So if you’re still undecided, as long as you use them and care for them as instructed, it’s well worth the investment. Hope this helps you decide! ... show more

I randomly found this brand of pans when i was looking for a set years ago in a Bed Bath & Beyond and they turned out to be my favorite pans ever... they are non stick but are also made with healthy nonstick ceramic, they are so easy to clean and last a long time, I had solid grey ones then and have really been wanting these beautiful black and gold colored ones for a while and got them for Christmas. I absolutely love these and they are so pretty! Highly recommend. Also a lot of times the GreenPan cooking products are way cheaper on Amazon. ... show more

I luv theses pots, ilI am a serious cook and really...really picky about my kitchen, pots and pans. But these are a steal for the price. I have been using them a while now and I did not want to leave a review until I had put them to literally trail by fire. They are awesome. No sticking, easy to clean, goes from stove top to oven with ease and so attractive. I recc to make sure you follow the manufacturers instructions about keeping the pots free of buildup, it not hard. But I do suggest only using good quality silicone utensils with them to avoid scratching that wonderful easy sliding ceramic coating. ... show more

    • Ripped off by a poor performing product!

We ordered this set of pots and pans because it matched our kitchen perfectly. They are a good looking set of pots and pans but that's where the positive part of this set ends. The pots andbpans are too thin and burn in the middle. If you cook at a reasonable heat, you're used to cooking at, the food overcooks in the middle of the pan and undercooks food near the edges of the pan. Also, the pans cannot be slid back-and-forth on the burners. If you're a professional cook or a foodie and cook a lot and you you like to slid the pan back-and-forth on the griddle, it will scratch the bottom of the pan. This is a very inexpensive poor performing pot and pan set. We were in the middle of moving and didn't start truly using the pans until after 30 days. When I called the phone number to get support the phone number had been disconnected. I would like to return these for a refund. My recommendation is- don't buy this set if you plan to actually cook with them... what a waste of hard earned money! ... show more

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this one is frustrating. The large saute pan showed up very dented. Worked on getting a replacement to no avail. Only option is to return the entire set, which would work but I've used the pans and immediately threw away the packaging. My fault there. As an Amazon seller myself I figured it would be easy to get a replacement. Reached out to Greenpan and they gave me a phone number to call but it was just some marketing number trying to give me a free old person alert device for if I fall. Very frustrated with the customer service here (or lack there of). I've owned a lot of greenpans and have liked them, but probably switching brands now. Good pans. Terrible customer service. EDIT; Not related to my review, but moments after the review I got an email back finally from Greenpan (about a week after) and they're sending me replacement. Love the pans and glad to know they're replacing the damaged pan. ... show more

    • Perfect for my remodel

Just finishing my kitchen remodel and with all that’s shiny and new, I couldn’t bear to use my old cookware. Besides, it’s in storage! I have a black and brass stove, so these match perfectly. But before I decided on this brand, I looked at hundreds of sets, from ceramic to stainless to aluminum to steel… and all different price points. I decided first to keep the price down because my last expensive set wound up being trashed by my daughter and her dinner parties… (she lived with me at the time). Anyways, once I set the price, I read all the reviews, researched the fabrication and quality… and this set fit my checklist. They are much more beautiful in person, and a nice weight. Not too heavy not too light. I also like the fact that you can expand your set with matching ala carte pots and pans. After reviewing the sizes that came in the 10-piece set, I decided to order the 3 qt pot set and the large 4.5 qt sauté pan. The griller will be my next purchase. I’ve used the pots and pans several times now and they are fabulous! Good job GreenPan for making a quality set of cookware that is beautiful as well.
