I needed to replace the old one I’ve owned for many years. Bought this nice HexClad 10” Wok for $95 on sale, with lifetime warranty. It’s a little pricey, but I think it’s worth it, especially, if I’ll never have to replace it! Nothing sticks to it, very sturdy, very easy to clean, not too heavy and it does as advertised. I’m looking forward to use this a lot for sti-frying, making fried rice, etc.. I do plan on buying the popular 12 piece set sometime soon. Oh. My. God. Let me tell you about this Hexclad wok, because if you don't have one, you're seriously missing out on the culinary ride of your life. First off, this beauty is like the holy grail of woks. I’ve thrown caution to the wind and tossed in everything from stir-fried veggies to noodles that practically dance with joy. Let’s talk about the non-stick magic. This thing is so non-stick that my food practically jumps out of the pan, waving goodbye like “See you, sucker!” I mean, I’ve burnt my fair share of food in my life, but with this wok? Nuh-uh. Not happening. It’s as if it has an agreement with the universe to not let anything stick. The heat distribution? Holy hell! It’s like the wok's got its own personal sun radiating heat evenly. You could roast marshmallows over it! (Disclaimer: Don’t roast marshmallows over it, that’s probably a bad idea.) My stir-fry cooks like it’s on a Michelin-star level, and I’m here for it. Cleaning this thing is like a dream. A quick rinse, and it's back to looking brand new. Seriously, I’m pretty sure I’ve spent more time scrubbing off burnt food in my life than actually cooking, but with this wok? It’s like the food just didn’t want to cling to it. It’s almost a little too easy—like it’s not even trying to put up a fight. I’m telling you, if you want to level up your cooking game and have a side of sheer joy while you're at it, get yourself a Hexclad wok. It’s like the love affair I never knew I needed in my kitchen. I absolutely love my HexClad pan! It heats up quickly and evenly, allowing for perfect cooking even at low temperatures. The non-stick surface is outstanding and easy to clean, plus it’s safe to use with metal utensils. Amazing cookware—highly recommend!

    • Hybrid design really works well

This has become my favorite wok. It heats evenly and has good non stick performance. It's made of steel which works on induction stoves, though it is heavier (and stronger) than aluminum. The hex design is also on the outside which is beautiful and unique. Keep in mind that the hybrid design has raised steel lines to protect the non stick coating. This is great to prolong the life of the pan, especially for my spouse who uses metal tongs and throws pans into the sink with metal utensils crushed on them. The exposed steel means you must use oil to prevent the thin lines from sticking to food. I hesitated to buy this because of the mixed reviews. I'm glad I gave it a try because it does a great job. I don't trust America's Test Kitchen anymore after they panned Hexclad. They complained that eggs stuck without oil. That's the wrong way to use this pan and they should know better as supposed experts. What kind of monster cooks without oil, even on a traditional non stick pan?? My opinion of people like that is they don't know how to cook. ... show more

I started off buying a three pot and lid setup a year ago. Best pans I've ever owned hands down. After seasoning them which is really easy, Just a little oil and a little heat they are good and non stick. I still use oil and cook like I would with any other pan, but I'll tell you - being able to use metal utensils and the metal scrubby to clean any Hexclad product (the once a week I actually clean pans) no soap needed.
