  • Electrical Issues
At first the first few weeks it ran smooth . Heavy duty , And almost 40 m p h . Then i started getting e 1 error on the display screen and it would then shut off . I would have to pull over and wait a few minutes before i could turn it back on . I then began to have throttle issues which became progressively worse . This past weekend the throttle broke and i can no longer use the scooter . I only hope the local scooter repair shop can fix it as this is my transportation to work . Have sent a few e mails with no response . VERY DISAPPOINTED ... show more

  • Pretty fast!!!
No complaints whatsoever. My son is obsessed. The scooter looks so cool .The price was great (bought “like new” original packaging damaged,Violent Amazon Logistics) and the scooter arrived early and in perfect condition. Scooter seems very sturdy and holds a charge for at least 5.6 hours - we haven’t tested it to see how long until the battery dies, he’s used it continuously and it still had power. I would totally buy this again. My son loves it...and it's pretty fast ... show more

  • Not perfect, but a great Scooter. Know thy limits
I have been overall very impressed with this scooter. While I have several issues I will discuss in a moment, none of them are big deals. I love this thing, I ride it work work, 18 miles each way, twice a week. They have a really great product, which needs a little extra attention to detail to really push it over the line to be great. Starting with what I love about this scooter: It really will do the 25 miles they advertise. Keep in mind that to achieve this distance you must be more conservative with speed. I went 18 miles on Eco (9mph) and still had 40% battery left after, so yeah, I think it will do it. I have been able to do the same 18 miles at the more brisk pace of 17 mph and after 1h 20min we had 20% battery remaining. I love the lighting, the front headlight and rear taillight do great at illuminating the road and keeping me visible. Kind of wish I had blinkers though as it can be difficult to use hand signals and steer with only one hand. I love how easy setup is from delivery. Literally 4 screws and you're done. The app lets you reset the speed assigned to each of the presets (Eco, D, and S), which is important as you discover what speeds you can achieve and work for you. I set S to just under the actual top speed which enables me to ride as fast as it will go without maxing the motor the whole time which kills the battery super quick. My settings are Eco = 5 MPH, D = 10, S = 17. The app only lets to set the speeds in KPH, so you'll need to convert MPH to KPH. You DONT need the app to change speed modes, just double click the power button to shift. (this is not mentioned in the manual, which is odd) Similarly, there is a way to manually enter walk mode. My kid did it twice by accident and we cant figure out how. The tires are super grippy. After I've gotten more comfortable with the scooter I've been taking my turns progressively harder and harder and the tires stick really well. The seller responded quickly to concerns, although I'm not sure they understood the question at first. The Cons. These sound harsh... but seriously nothing too bad. The rear wheel looks like it's coming apart. I have only ridden along roads, occasionally over RR crossings or bumpy wooden bridges, but nothing which I feel like caused this. I will attach a photo, but the rubber seems to have lifted a couple mm from the wheel. Like some glue came loose. Seller sent me a replacement scooter (for a different issue I'll mention next) and the same thing happened even though I was super cautious with the replacement one. The thing is, it still rides perfectly fine. Is it a problem... not so far after miles and miles like it is. I feel like it will be fine, but I have not been able to find a video of someone replacing the tire on this kind of wheel to know what is a problem and what isn't. Hills (gradient): This scooter is zippy on the flats, but up hills we start to feel it struggle. I live in Salt lake city and can avoid most big hills in my commute to work. That said, I've had to adjust my route 3 times to find the most ideal route which involves the least amount of walking. Yes, walking. I've not measured the slope but anything significant and it will slow to a crawl / stop completely. It's not been bad, just one hill in all of 18 miles which gave me any trouble. OverHeating!!: This is probably the most significant Con of them all. I've taken to watching the device details while I commute because it's important to watch the device temp. I'll be humming along at 60c and hit a small hill I don't even notice and see the temp slowly start to climb. The device will start to slow down when you get much over 64c and will come to a dead stop if you hit 65c. The first time this happened I was not watching the device temp, it just dies out of nowhere and flashed an error "E7", but let me resume. I did, then it dies completely, no error, wouldn't turn back on for 20-30 minutes. Turns out it's a safety lockout due to the overheating, but nothing from the listing, manual, or seller could tell me what E7 meant. I did it again watching the temp, it hit 65c and then I got an E3 error, not sure what that is, but felt like the same thing. The app has a "fault detection" feature which I clicked when I saw the error, it responded that everything was OK. I make sure now to not let it hit 65c and I have not had an error pop up since then. What makes this stupid, is the APP does not allow you to run it as a popup or split with another app (android), so I am forced to have the app up in full, on device details, and then run google maps as a popup over top. It works, but I wish I could have an app widget for just the temp since it's such a critical figure. This could be a deal breaker for some people. I found though that when cool, the scooter does hills pretty well, just not for long periods or when it's already been going for miles and miles. Instruction manual: needs to have error codes. Top Speed: I am a 6 ft, 170LB man. The scooter does not travel more than 18 MPH on flat level ground. The same speed was achieved by the 13 y/o who weighs much much less. While I understand that your results may very, I DO NOT expect you to get 25 MPH out of this. Preset Speeds: The scooter had a preset speed of 25 MPH for S mode. When you give it full throttle, it will quickly count up to the preset speed even if that's not the speed you're going. While at "25" I would change mode from S to D and instantly the speedometer would show 17, before the scooter even slowed down! Why does it lie about your speed? Speed in the APP: I would watch my speed via GPS, the scooter app, and the speedometer and could find each one telling me different things. Speedometer says 22, GPS says 18, App says 16... seriously? Map in the App: Useless. Tells you where you were. Impossible to input a destination. Could not get it to work in the background while Google maps ran on top. Speed is also inaccurately reported. (maybe it's stuck in KM even thought it shows MPH?) The front bag: Velcro? This is garbage and should be replaced with one which attaches to the center pole and can clip on and off. The one from the mfg is terrible and gets in the way of the headlight. The speed controller: This is a concern which has not been too much of an issue yet. When holding full throttle, pressing too hard on the throttle could rotate it around the handlebar and out of position. I hit a bump as I was holding it down and it went straight down. I could rotate it back up, but I see no way to tighten it down to prevent it from happening again. 2nd issue with the speed controller, it feel like the ring around the controller itself wants to just slide off sometimes if brushed the wrong way. It's never come off yet, but it shouldn't be so loose. Break line damage: I thought I was just being too hard on the scooter maybe while moving it around in the garage, until I read another persons review mentioning damage to the rear break cable. Before you get going too much, wrap the last 2-3 inches of the break line with electrical tape or something to protect it. Energy Recovery Mode: App and manual do not mention what this is. It is where your braking engages the engine to charge the battery, That is why so many people complain about the braking being almost too strong. It is! You cannot turn this feature off either. Power off Brake: When using the scooter with power off, the brake is quite weak. ... show more

  • Had to return
This scooter has speed and is comfortable. Unfortunately, it started shutting off completely and had Error E1 code. After looking it up it was a wiring issue. Super disappointed as the scooter seemed to be of quality. Sent back and received full refund.

  • Garbage best describes this product!
i ordered this product through amazon for my son. Within two weeks of getting it the battery went bad. I contacted amazon and they sent me a replacement. However, the battery went bad on the replacement as well. I cannot get in touch with the company for technical support or to get warranty information. I have lost almost $600 dealing with this product and my son still does not have an operating scooter. ... show more

  • Throttle fell apart
I had the scooter for four days and when I went over a small bump on the sidewalk while holding down the throttle it completely fell apart and wires snapped. Error code appeared and the scooter was no longer working. I have a replacement coming today so hopefully everything goes well and this one doesn’t fall apart. Other than the throttle completely falling apart it’s a very nice scooter and goes 25 mph and it’s comfortable when riding. ... show more
