🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The electric scooter under review appears to be a popular choice among users, delivering top-rated performance and speedy transportation. Most users found it durable, comfortable and fast, reaching speeds up to 50 MPH, while several reviews also appreciated its bright lights and powerful brakes. However, certain areas like weak or unclear assembly instructions, poor signal light attachments, the non-functioning horn, and an uncomfortable throttle were common issues raised.

Pros

  • 🚀 Top speed of up to 50 MPH
  • 💪 Durable and sturdy build
  • 😊 Comfortable ride with pretty good suspension
  • 🚦 Powerful braking system
  • 💡 Bright lights for visibility at night
  • ⚡ Uses Eco mode for optimal battery usage

Cons

  • ❌ Non-functioning horn reported
  • 📖 Unhelpful or sparse assembly instructions
  • 🚦 Poor design of turn signal switch and light attachment
  • 👎 Throttle design not comfortable for some users

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a performance-focused scooter with high speed and durability, it might be a good purchase. However, be ready to handle some minor design flaws and possibly unclear assembly instructions. For those comfortable with little mechanical work and adjustability, the scooter's considerable pros seem to outweigh its cons.

  • Awesome Scooter! Weirdly popular, too!
Style: 33Ah/80-90KM
This is my first electric scooter I've bought. I was originally going to buy a Vespa (one of the 300s that can go on the highway) for around town usage, so I can have something gas efficient to run to the grocery store. A friend convinced me that I should get this instead, and man am I glad I listened. First things first, this is NOT a toy. It is a very fast scooter that will get up to 45 MPH, and it goes from 0-30 basically instantly. In dual motor high power mode, it will spin the front tire if you don't have enough weight on the front, which is actually fun if you know how to control it. I only ride it with full motorcycle gear in the high power mode. If I don't want to gear up, I leave it in Eco mode where it doesn't really go faster than maybe 10-12 MPH. The initial assembly was straightforward, but I also have experience working on motorcycles and cars, so tightening a a few Allen bolts was pretty easy. The instructions included weren't all that helpful, but I didn't need them. If you get lost or confused, ask a friend who knows how to adjust bicycles, as the skills will transfer over. Riding it is an absolute riot, and leaving it in mid-power mode it's a ton of fun to ride around at low and medium speeds. Almost every time I park it someone comes up to me excitedly asking about it, too! Given how much I spent on it, I'd say it's absolutely worth the amount that's being asked. As far as battery life is concerned, you'll only get the maximum range in Eco mode, which caps out at a low speed, which for this thing is about how fast people cruise around on a pedal bicycle. Leaving it in Gear 2, which caps the speed to 30 MPH, i calculate I should get right around 30 miles out of a full charge. I weigh approximately 225 with all my gear on, plus another up to 10-30 pounds of cargo in my backpack, so keep that in mind. Obviously if you're smaller it'll go a bit further and if you're heavier it won't go as far. That's just the nature of electric vehicles. Sturdiness wise I rate it 5 stars. The frame is all metal and feels extremely strong. There is very little flex on the front forks, so while riding it feels solid and put together. The suspension doesn't have a ton of travel, but it can pop curbs pretty confidently if you do it slowly and practice. It hops off curbs pretty easily, but I don't do that a ton as it's hard on the suspension. Ergonomics are...fine. I'm just under 6 feet tall, so the handlebars are a few inches too low for my liking, otherwise the width is perfect. Stock grips feel nice, better than my $7k Yamaha MT-07 I bought 5 years ago. The controls are plastic, otherwise solid and easy enough to use. I strongly dislike the blinker switch, and it only lights up on the rear....so...why bother? Hand signals it is. Jokes aside, it's a motorcycle style one that does not cancel and requires you to slide the switch back to the middle to cancel, which is annoying. The horn is loud, so I don't use it. I strongly appreciate the bright headlights and side LED strips, they do wonders to help keep you visible. The headlights shine far out enough to actually be useful at night. I don't really feel safe riding around my city at night, but that's a Bay Area problem not the scooter's fault. Handling wise, I like it. It is very easy to control at low speeds and I feel confident making street turns at 15-20MPH aka the speed of traffic on city streets. I'm comfortable riding on the sidewalk at lower speeds in cases where I do not feel safe on the road. The brakes are actually really good. Solid lever feel and the adjustments are great, and I appreciate them being included. Just know the thing only weighs 100 pounds, so practice emergency stops, as you can lock up the wheels pretty easily. It only took me a few minutes to be able to control a rear tire slide while stopping. There's no ABS, so if you pull the lever too hard, the tire will lock up on you. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I love riding it, and plan to put on as many miles as possible. ... show more

  • Very fun to ride, powerful and last long
Style: 33Ah/80-90KM
My first time riding an e-scooter, I was excited. Rode it to my brothers house at 7-8 miles on a full charge and and battery was at 60% but I used eco mode all the way going 15mph. I haven't tried going max speed but I'm pretty sure it's very power, and picks up fast. It's expensive but paid monthly for it, can't wait for the summer so I can cruise with my buddy's around the city. It has a very good weight to it, so if your planning on carrying it inside your vehicle, becarefull. I had to put mines on the back of the trailer. I have a truck and I'm trying to figure out how I am going to load it in my vehicle. Might need another person to help me lift it into the back of the truck. Also, can't wait to add accessories. One thing I wish it had, was a ski blades, so I can connect it to the scooter and ride it in the snow. That be fun. ... show more

  • HORRIBLE JUNK
Style: 27Ah/70-80KM
WORST customer service experience I've had with an Amazon vendor. I received the scooter in fine condition. However, good luck trying to figure out how to put it together. Instructions are HORRIBLE. I called around to a few scooter and bike shops and NOBODY would touch it because it wasn't their product. I eventually put it together myself and getting it to fold down was a nightmare, it simply wouldn't go down without having risking getting my fingers caught on some chessy lever you're supposed to push however doesn't budge easily at all. The handlebars are pretty low, so if you're over 6' tall, this scooter will feel very unsafe to ride with them small tires. Finally, i requested a return. They did good approving the return, however, they WILL NOT pay for the packaging or shipping and i ended up paying $375 just to return it. They refunded Affirm the $1462 that was financed but they absolutely refused to pay for any of the shipping costs after i repeatedly asked them if they would refund the shipping and packaging if i returned it. All they would reply with was "return the scooter, be assured you will be refunded". They refunded the price of the scooter and screwed their customer with shipping and packaging. Bad business. Buy at your own risk. But take it from me, this scooter is NOT worth no $1400. ... show more

  • for its size, this thing has some power!
Style: 27Ah/70-80KM
im 225 lbs, 6'3.. and this thing takes me where i want to go, and fast. i don't have many miles on it at this point, so this review maybe premature.. but so far, so good! i even hooked up my burley bike carrier, and have used it for hauling things around, including 4 of my boys! (yes, all 4 at once) and was cruising at 30mph with them in toe! they LOVE it! and i love hearing them giggle! this thing is fast, and has some nice torque. you will peal out on gravel every time you take off. if this thing holds up, wow, is all i can say. can't believe they can pack so much in something so small and quiet. what i wouldn't have given to have this as a kid (im 42, but feel like a kid when i ride!). collapses nice, bring it too and from my work place in my truck on my days off. not a fan of the throttle, would rather have a thumb push, than a finger pull style throttle. the rear shock bottoms out on my terrible bumpy city street. (fine on the soft bumpy lawn though!) the seat is awesome! horn loud, breaks nice and responsive. very happy with my purchase! if you are on the fence, buy this! (i was not paid, or influence in any way, shape or form, to write this review) ... show more

  • simply incredible
Style: 33Ah/80-90KM
The scooter is nice, it has a very nice design and it is too fast, in sport mode you can go from 0 to 50 mph in 3 or 2 seconds. I loved it, only the side lights were very bright so I removed them and only left the front LED lights.
