  • Awesome Scooter! Weirdly popular, too!
Style: T88Plus 60Miles 60V33Ah
This is my first electric scooter I've bought. I was originally going to buy a Vespa (one of the 300s that can go on the highway) for around town usage, so I can have something gas efficient to run to the grocery store. A friend convinced me that I should get this instead, and man am I glad I listened. First things first, this is NOT a toy. It is a very fast scooter that will get up to 45 MPH, and it goes from 0-30 basically instantly. In dual motor high power mode, it will spin the front tire if you don't have enough weight on the front, which is actually fun if you know how to control it. I only ride it with full motorcycle gear in the high power mode. If I don't want to gear up, I leave it in Eco mode where it doesn't really go faster than maybe 10-12 MPH. The initial assembly was straightforward, but I also have experience working on motorcycles and cars, so tightening a a few Allen bolts was pretty easy. The instructions included weren't all that helpful, but I didn't need them. If you get lost or confused, ask a friend who knows how to adjust bicycles, as the skills will transfer over. Riding it is an absolute riot, and leaving it in mid-power mode it's a ton of fun to ride around at low and medium speeds. Almost every time I park it someone comes up to me excitedly asking about it, too! Given how much I spent on it, I'd say it's absolutely worth the amount that's being asked. As far as battery life is concerned, you'll only get the maximum range in Eco mode, which caps out at a low speed, which for this thing is about how fast people cruise around on a pedal bicycle. Leaving it in Gear 2, which caps the speed to 30 MPH, i calculate I should get right around 30 miles out of a full charge. I weigh approximately 225 with all my gear on, plus another up to 10-30 pounds of cargo in my backpack, so keep that in mind. Obviously if you're smaller it'll go a bit further and if you're heavier it won't go as far. That's just the nature of electric vehicles. Sturdiness wise I rate it 5 stars. The frame is all metal and feels extremely strong. There is very little flex on the front forks, so while riding it feels solid and put together. The suspension doesn't have a ton of travel, but it can pop curbs pretty confidently if you do it slowly and practice. It hops off curbs pretty easily, but I don't do that a ton as it's hard on the suspension. Ergonomics are...fine. I'm just under 6 feet tall, so the handlebars are a few inches too low for my liking, otherwise the width is perfect. Stock grips feel nice, better than my $7k Yamaha MT-07 I bought 5 years ago. The controls are plastic, otherwise solid and easy enough to use. I strongly dislike the blinker switch, and it only lights up on the rear....so...why bother? Hand signals it is. Jokes aside, it's a motorcycle style one that does not cancel and requires you to slide the switch back to the middle to cancel, which is annoying. The horn is loud, so I don't use it. I strongly appreciate the bright headlights and side LED strips, they do wonders to help keep you visible. The headlights shine far out enough to actually be useful at night. I don't really feel safe riding around my city at night, but that's a Bay Area problem not the scooter's fault. Handling wise, I like it. It is very easy to control at low speeds and I feel confident making street turns at 15-20MPH aka the speed of traffic on city streets. I'm comfortable riding on the sidewalk at lower speeds in cases where I do not feel safe on the road. The brakes are actually really good. Solid lever feel and the adjustments are great, and I appreciate them being included. Just know the thing only weighs 100 pounds, so practice emergency stops, as you can lock up the wheels pretty easily. It only took me a few minutes to be able to control a rear tire slide while stopping. There's no ABS, so if you pull the lever too hard, the tire will lock up on you. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I love riding it, and plan to put on as many miles as possible. ... show more

  • Very fun to ride, powerful and last long
Style: T88Plus 60Miles 60V33Ah
My first time riding an e-scooter, I was excited. Rode it to my brothers house at 7-8 miles on a full charge and and battery was at 60% but I used eco mode all the way going 15mph. I haven't tried going max speed but I'm pretty sure it's very power, and picks up fast. It's expensive but paid monthly for it, can't wait for the summer so I can cruise with my buddy's around the city. It has a very good weight to it, so if your planning on carrying it inside your vehicle, becarefull. I had to put mines on the back of the trailer. I have a truck and I'm trying to figure out how I am going to load it in my vehicle. Might need another person to help me lift it into the back of the truck. Also, can't wait to add accessories. One thing I wish it had, was a ski blades, so I can connect it to the scooter and ride it in the snow. That be fun. ... show more

  • I'd buy it again
Style: T88Plus 60Miles 60V33Ah
I've owned this for about almost a year and I've used it many times. On a full charge within the first 15 minutes going downhill, it can get up to 45 to 48 mph, but normally it goes 37 to 43 mph after using it for about 20 minutes. I'm 200 pounds and perhaps it would go faster with a lighter rider. The tires are extremely hard to change. I recommend buying professional tire irons, the fix a flat goo that goes inside the tire and just getting inner tube's to keep them inflated. With the tubeless tires, if you hit a curb or something it can deflate and it's hard to get it to inflate otherwise. When riding, do not push down on the handle bars, it loosens the central nut that holds them together and they can bend down and come apart when driving which is very dangerous (I had one accident that way). So, in general, pull up on the handle bars gently when riding and lean back on the back foot. Always check the central handle bar nut before, during and after riding. The turn signals are not in a good location as they are right near where you put your back foot. Slowly the rubber that holds them on gets worn away by accidently stepping on them and they fall off. But they aren't too expensive to replace and the customer service is usually quite helpful and prompt with replacing parts. Definitely invest in a good helmet, pads and locks to lock it up. I never leave it locked up outside of a store for very long if I can avoid it. However, overall, I love riding it, the battery has never died on me and it's a good price. I'd say it's worth it and I'd buy it again. ... show more

  • Awesome scooter!!
Style: T88 50Miles 60V27Ah
I would strongly recommend this scooter! Very sturdy, long battery life, smooth ride, and extremely fast!!!!! If you’re going 50mph, I would suggest squatting/bending your legs because the scooter will shake back and forth if standing straight up when the wind hits your chest. Squatting/bending your legs will make it more arrow dynamic, which will prevent the shaking back and forth. The only downside I have is the throttle setup. After sometime of pulling the throttle, your hand gets sore. It would be better with a thumb throttle. ... show more
