  • Works like a charm, like an extra arm.
Style: Single
Mine is holding up a 34 inch monitor just fine. It's reasonably priced, cheaper than similar products. The two USB passthroughs are handy. Kudos to the engineers for a well-designed product.

  • The arm itself is great
Style: Single
The plastic sleeves that hide your cords are a bit flimsy - be gentle with them when hiding your cords. The arm itself works great.

  • A solid and well built monitor stand
Style: Single
In my experience, Fellows generally makes decent office products. In the case of this monitor stand, that holds true. This is a solid and attractive piece of hardware made of steel that will work great for both home and office use and will almost certainly hold up to even heavy use on a daily basis. My wife works from home on occasion and we used it to mount a monitor on her desk so she could use it and push it out of the way depending on what she is doing. It’s served that purpose perfectly. The stand itself is comprised of a base with a rotating arm fixed at an angle. It has just a bit less than 360 degrees of rotation. To that is the upper arm which can turn 360 degrees and be adjusted for angle to raise and lower the monitor. The monitor mounts to an articulated bracket that also can be adjusted for angle but can also rotate to allow for changing the orientation of the monitor. The bracket fits the VESA standards of 75x75mm and 100x100mm. Screws are provided for several size mounting holes on the back of your monitor. The max weight this stand can bear is 20 pounds (9kg). That means that most modern monitors up to 27” will work on it without an issue. Because the bottom part of the arm is not articulated, there is a limit to how tall this stand goes. In addition, this is not a stand for when you have extremely limited space as the arm does stick out behind the monitor a bit. On the underside of the articulated arms are plastic cord guides which allow you to route cables neatly along the arm so the set up looks nice and cables are out of the way. The stand comes with several mounting solutions including a desk mount clamp for non-permanently mounting to the edge of a desk and a drill through clamp system for mounting if you want it to be permanent. Both clamping systems are substantial with heavy steel plates holding everything together, so there’s little fear of things bending or breaking. All the hardware is provided including all the mounting screws and a combo Allen wrench/screwdriver so you don’t need to provide your own tools (unless you’re drilling that hole for the permanent mounting option). The Allen wrench can also be used to tighten the various screw on the arm in case they lose tightness with use. The monitor stand also contains an extra feature in the pair of USB 3.0 ports in the stand’s base. Each USB 3.0 port is provided with its own USB cable for plugging into a computer. The cords are a decent length at about 6 feet, giving aple length for plugging into a tower under a desk. Now some may wonder why this was done instead of making the ports into a USB hub and having a single output usb cord instead of two. The reason is simply because when you share a usb port, data speeds decrease. Having a dedicated USB cord for each port ensures you’ll get the fastest data transfer speeds from each one. Assembly is pretty easy. The stand comes all as one unit so all you have to put onto it is the mounting hardware and the monitor. There is an instruction sheet in the box that uses pictures to show how to assemble it. I found the illustrations to be adequate for assembling it. Bottom Line: This is a really nice monitor stand. It’s well built, attractive and has all the features you’d expect for a stand like this, and an extra in the USB ports on the base. This is a great product and one I recommend without reservation. ... show more

  • Incredibly sturdy; holds HP Pavilion 27xw but adapter required
Style: Single
I live in an apartment so space economy is important to me. My workspace is relatively small, so is my desk. But as a graphic designer I need an extension of my desktop as I often run and work a few design programs at the same time. This Series Single Adjustable Monitor Arm is a perfect solution for me. It's replaced the stack of books that my monitor was sitting on to elevate my screen, and has freed up some valuable space. It also allows me to adjust the placement of my monitor easily. My desk is flush against a wall and I am able to turn the arm to the side so that I don't need to bring my desk away from the wall to accommodate. The round mount takes up just a small footprint and brings two USB-A ports to my desk, rather than me having to find long cords to connect my devices to a wall or powerbank on the floor. Admittedly, I still need some cord management! The installation is very straight forward, although it's tedious. It's a bit nerve wracking balancing a valuable monitor while trying to screw it all in straight. However, I was able to do this single handedly. I did have to purchase a VESA mount adapter for my HP Pavilion 27xw for $20. Most monitors won't require an adapting plate though, but if you do, make sure it is monitor specific. Here is the link to the HP Pavilion adapter I used which will also be suitable for some others besides the 27xw: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DNCP7HW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. All the parts, hardware and tools are numbered and are easily referenced. There is even a Philips head on one of the Allen wrenches. There are also adhesive foam pads to stick onto the clamps to protect your desk, and to also reduce any play that there might be in installing on uneven surfaces. There are plastic covers along the arm that will carry your power and HDMI (or other) cords and keep them tidy. These are a little irksome to snap on and off, but manageable — just a bit finicky to get back on once everything is in place and plugged in, especially the lower cover which has four pegs you need to align properly. I used the clamp option to secure the arm to my desk. The clamp is adjustable for very thick and very thin desk surfaces. The arm itself articulates well in many directions. I don't feel limited at all with its range of motion. The movement is stiff but steady and holds well without any drooping after moving into place. In sum, I'm really happy to have this space saving piece of equipment for my workspace, and have peace of mind knowing that it is holding my precious monitor securely. It's well worth its cost for its design and build. ... show more
