The thing that I really did not like is that it did not come with directions for how long to heat it!! I am still experimenting to avoid overheating and potentially burning myself. The wrap is a nice size and had a good strap w/ velcro to keep the wrap in place.

    • Weak Velcro
I bought this version because of the option to attach it around my lower back. I am not a large person and it barely works for me plus the Velcro does not adhere very well. Disappointing for sure.

    • Convenient, versatile size
This newer version was ordered to replace the old one which had been around and in use for 10 years or so. It is not "easy" to heat the newer product in the microwave as it is stiff, and cannot be positioned "flat", but needs to be doubled over, whether on a turntable or microwave safe dish. Even so it doesn't stay put, and needs to be re-adjusted every few seconds as the turntable moves around. It takes several incremental tries to attain warmth, even though the label says only a few seconds necessary to do it properly, paying attention to the wattage of the microwave being used. The substance that fills the product is not "grainy", like sand, as the older version, but chunky, and emits an unpleasant chemical odor that tends to linger when heated. The instructions on the printed label on the product were followed exactly, with poor results. Not a satisfying experience. Don't think we would purchase again, even though our original one was wonderful. ... show more
