I think that this cast iron skillet is a solid investment for any kitchen. This is my first cast iron pan, and I cannot believe the difference in the taste of the food I am making. It doesnt let the food overcook that easily, and cooks food slow and nice. Its also non sticky! Hands down, my favorite pan so far.

We purchased this pan as we needed one. We didn’t cook the meal on it yet since we do cook on iron pans occasionally or on purpose for the special days. Iron pans are pretty good with meats. I’m pretty sure it will be successful too. The design looks pretty awesome. The spirals on the surface are looking good and promising for the great taste. However, I didn’t like the handle. I love this pan but I should have bought the 12” size. The pan has a smaller flat area maybe 6-7”. I still use a bit of oil but definitely no oil is fine. Nice weight and long wooden handle that can be hanged.
