I don't know how others here rated this chair cushion so highly. I am a small 5' 3 person, and it was too short for my tiny office chair. And darned uncomfortable too. Others stated it held firmly under even 100lb. light weight. Which is dead wrong. Or perhaps I just received a dud ... because it not only condensed 1/2 an inch from my 120lb weight ... but my derriere was sore after just one hour of sitting > : The chair pad I'd bought from Michaels is way softer and nicer than this. ... show more

This seat cushion has quality memory foam in it that seems like it will hold its shape for a long time to come (time will tell). I like a few qualities: the space between your legs curves in so if you want to hold a cup or something between your legs, this cushion won't get in the way. The little raised curve that goes between your bum cheeks keeps you sitting straight forward. The underside has little raised silicone balls to grip the surface so it doesn't slide around and they work very well. There is a handle on the side that makes it easy to carry around with other things still in your hands. The cover is VERY soft and removable for washing, although I would do it on cold since the grippy balls may melt if you do hot water and you have to air dry it. What I don't like (minor)...The logo is pretty prominent, which detracts from the look. I don't think it helps you with better posture, as that is something that normally starts in the mid to upper back, not your butt. Overall, If you need a soft seat for sitting long stints at a time (car rides, office chair, etc) this is a great option and it is worth 5 stars for what it is. ... show more

    • It's comfortable but do not use it directly on your seat.
It's a very comfortable seat cushion, however I learned the hard way that you can't place this directly on your chair - at least if it's a different material than fabric (like leather or faux leather) because the little grip beads on the bottom side will absolutely stain your chair. I now have to figure out how to get this off, it is everywhere the cushion touched and it does not come off easily. Just a warning. I'm only giving it 3 stars despite it's comfortability just because of this. ... show more

I just received this seat cushion today and it exceeds my expectations. I purchased it because my daughter was complaining that her office chair wasn’t comfortable after sitting in it for extended periods of time related to online schooling. The minute she sat in it she said it’s so comfortable and it was exactly what she was looking for. I also like that the cover comes off for washing. I highly recommend!! ... show more

    • Quick and Affordable Ergonomic Adjustment
I switched to working remotely from home last year and have worked from the couch, kitchen table, and a desk. None of these set-ups have been ideal. I’ve found myself slouching or hunching over my laptop, increasing neck and back pain because my posture is just awful. At my office- our EHS guy did an evaluation of each employee and adjusted chair and desk style and height to be ergonomic. This essentially made sitting with proper posture seem natural. So- since I do not have my own EHS guy at home, I wanted to make adjustments here and there to improve the way in which I sit for work. This cushion is a lower cost, easy option- so I started here. The cushion came without any retail type packaging. It was in a clear bag to protect it but no printed material or tag. I actually appreciate that as I typically hate unnecessary packaging with products. It did not have any odor of plastic or petroleum/chemical materials from the manufacturing that is typically noticed with low cost, mass manufactured items. That meant there was no airing out time needed and could be used right out of packaging. I have never used any type of seat cushion like this before so it did take some getting used to with the molded shape and angle. It also added height to how I was sitting and with being short- my legs no longer touched the ground. Regardless, I think I’ve made adjustments well. It could be placebo effect with me focusing more on my posture because I have this cushion now or it may be truly working because we Jen I do use it, I do find I’m not hunching nearly as much as before. I’m going to continue with this and other adjustments to ensure it’s not my subconscious and it is the true benefit of the cushion. It is comfortable and worth trying if you have similar concerns with posture or if you have pain. ... show more

Pros: Soft and memory foam seems to keep its form after sitting. Cons: Goes flat like a pancake when sat on, does not cover entire seat. No support or comfort. After reading the raving reviews I decided to purchase. Once I sat and it flattened out I returned this item and purchased a gel infused memory foam cushion instead. ... show more

    • The fabric is everything!
When I opened the plastic seal and first touched this fabric, I was in love! It’s as soft as my dog’s head. I’m not exaggerating. Luxury. Originally, I got this cushion to use in the car. I have a Trax which is an awesome car, but the cushions are not as comfortable as other cars I’ve had. I tried stacking the cushion onto the car seat and it didn’t work well. It was too high and difficult to turn, so I brought it back out and put it onto a folding chair. It was heavenly. I decided the place I’d use it most would be my office chair which is very lightly cushioned and firm. It works extremely well there, too, and there it shall stay.
