I like this product, It was more expensive than other offerings. I chose it because it had an additional ability to tilt forward and backwards unlike most others that lift up and down and rotate. I felt it important to adjust the position of how forward my neck would be in relation to the surface of the chair and my neck. In leaning back into the headrest the fabric slipped from it's original mounting position and is now slack, while this is disappointing for a $200+ aftermarket add-on. Their service team has been quite responsive and says their is a replacement on it's way. I find the soft spot to be quite comfortable, so while it's not as nice looking it may turn out to be more comfortable than when the fabric is tight. I'll know once the replacement arrives. I'm hoping for the best. They have a decent support portal on their website that keeps our communication in one place. I'lll update this review if there is more to add. Worth noting, I am a 6 foot person so I chose the H4 version which was more expensive. I don't think the additional height is necessary unless you are significantly taller than 6' as the highest position is not useful. ... show more

I recently ordered a refurbished Aeron Classic chair and I really wanted to try out a headrest. I ordered the Engineered Now H4 and an Atlas headrest. I ended up getting rid of the Atlas pretty quickly as I much prefer the H4. I am 5'9" and the H4 isn't too tall for me. The actual mounting mechanism between the Atlas and the Engineered Now H4 are very similar as they just clamp to the top of the chair the same way. I do prefer the adjustments on the Atlas, but the H4 is fine. You can pop the plastic covers off of the adjustment links and tighten the mechanism if you ever had it move around on you. The mesh on the H4 isn't as nice as the actual Aeron mesh. It isn't as tightly formed and you can get wrinkles in the headrest, but I can't feel them with my head. Not a big deal. Overall I am very happy with the headrest. I will update this review if I start to notice any major flaws. I do hope the mesh holds up. ... show more

Overall good product and came as expected. The one exception is that the headrest cannot be fixed into place on the Y axis - tightening the screws does NOT impact the silver rods part. As a result, the headrest can sometimes slowly lower itself over time... can be annoying if you're a taller person. That said, there is just enough friction on the slider for this to be a minor issue only. ... show more

So I bought this headrest in 2017 and it did NOT come with the piece to actually mount it. Thought maybe I made a mistake and made the wrong purchase or whatever and threw it in the closet for years. It's 2023 now and I was looking for a headrest again only to see some reviews saying that it comes with the piece now to properly mount. I guess in the past a few were delivered without it including mine. I contacted the seller and they provided me with the piece I needed to properly mount. Now I can't say everyone who contacts them will get the piece, but my experience with the rep was fantastic and now it's mounted and I love it. I have 4 monitors set up with one higher above angled down towards me and it's great to lean back and look up at that one now. Thank you. ... show more

I want to start this review off with a quote from another review that won me over: "I wish I would have bought it sooner". The design, materials, and color are a perfect match for my Aeron charcoal chair. I'll get to this later, but customer support was excellent. This review is for the H4 version. I'm a programmer and a while back I purchased a Herman Miller Aeron chair. However, during some intense programming sessions, my neck muscles would start to bunch up. This headrest is exactly what I needed to handle it. Now that I can lean back to support my neck, and it actually helps me with my posture. I was seriously considering purchasing another chair with a headrest when I saw this add on. The price was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it really is a perfect match and works very well. Considering I've had the chair for about 10 years, I expect it is worth it. Fit: In regards to fit, I'm 5'9. When the chair is in the upward position, I use the top downward slope as support. When reclining I tilt the rest up and use the front part. It fits quite well. Adjustment is pretty quick with the clamping lever which is easy to reach, but for the most part I just tilt the upper pivot. Support: The first one that I ordered had a slight manufacturing defect where one side wasn't fully pushed in. It worked fine, it just looked wonky. I contacted support and they got back to me immediately and sent out a new one. Adjustments: (This is not as big of a deal as I probably make it sound, but thought I would mention it.) There are two pivot points on this headrest (which in the pictures, you can tell from the two circles). The first is the bottom part which is controlled by the clamp. The second one is higher up behind the headrest, which is controlled by the tension of two screws. If I'm repositioning the upper head rest a lot, I eventually need to retention the screws. Its really not a big deal, but thought I would mention it. The plastic caps that cover the screws have kind of a fine edge. To keep from marring them, I used a credit cart to work around the cap and pull it up. As a side note, they include spare caps in the package if you do mangle it :) I just keep the caps off for now, but I'll probably just put them back in and not fully seat them to make removal easier. I'm quite happy with the product and considering I use it every day, well worth it. ... show more
