    • Better than expected!
I am very pleased with this wire jig. I’ve been trying to make a particular design freehand for a while and it never worked. Found a tutorial on YouTube using the wire jig, came out perfect the first time! I was so pleased that I made a second one, since the pegs were still in place. A couple of things about the tubes, be sure to use them. Some reviewers have complained that the pegs don’t stay in place. You need to use the tubes to hold the pegs in place and then hold them down while you bend the wire around it. Also, most of the tubes are too long so the grid does not lay flat on the table. Just cut them in half. They will still work and allow you to have the plate flat. Lastly, if you want a sharp bend, over bend your wire when going around the peg. Instead of stopping where you’d like the bend to be, bend it past that point and pull firmly. That way, it’ll retain its shape when you remove it. I am in love with my new toy and look forward to making many more projects! ... show more

This product is useful if you are just starting to learn to make wire wrapped jewelry. It is quite easy to use. However, it is a little difficult to keep the pegs in place while you are using them to bend the wire. The pieces themselves are very durable, but sometimes while you're bending the wire, it gets caught under the pegs and that gets a little frustrating. I wire wrap and wanted a decent jig to enhance my designs. This is a decent jig metal with metal pegs and little rubber stoppers for the back that helps keep the pegs where you put them. It's very sturdy.

    • Not great, but not bad either
The instructions on how to use are nonexistent. I got better ideas from the reviews on what to do with wobbly pegs and the plastic tubes so now it is usable. However, I'm disappointed that most pegs are tiny. I would like more of the larger sizes for larger loops. I also like to add beads in with my design and that is not easy with this gadget. So useful t For folks with weak hands. Makes great even bends and with the rubber backings it holds your pins so tight. No slipping, great variety to work with. Excellent value for money.
