UPDATE: customer service reached out and offered a full refund for the issue. Great experience!! I bought this product over the summer and didn't set it up for use until the middle of November. When I set it up, the motor which turns the belt does not turn it. The motor vibrates and heats up, trying to work, but doesn't. Took a little while to assemble. I did need help of an instructional video. I did a search for "Ortur roller YRR assembly guide" to find a good video (there are many). But once I saw the video - it was pretty easy to put together. The unit works great and has a few little programming tweaks needed to get it perfect. But the information is all out there. Works on glasses, tumblers, etc without handles. There are plenty of guides that you can 3d print yourself if you look for them to handle odd shaped cylindrical objects. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The way Amazon ships things, the box was completely trashed. Holes, not tape, ect. With that said inside the giant Amazon box was a nicely boxed rotary machine. I’m glad ortur packaged it so well. Not a scratch on the product even though Amazon made it look like it went through a war zone. Set up was pretty simple. The instructions were hard to read with the black text on a dark blue background, but there is a good video on YouTube from ortur on how to assemble. Solid well built metal frame, the rollers seem to have plenty of gripsion to grab an roll light or heavy objects! I’d buy it again and recommend it ... show more

I bought this to use with a Befon table top laser engraver. After assembling the Rotary Roller, which took 20-30min and wasn't difficult, I set it up on the laser work space, loaded a file, enabled the roller in the LightBurn software and started the engraving... the image was a bunch of squiggly lines. After trying a few different settings I opened a help ticket with Ortur Tech support (about 8pm). In less than an hour I had a reply and easy fix: The red & Black wires had to be swapped on the connector to work with my laser. I have been playing with it since and it works very well. Smooth, accurate images are produced on round objects. Good product at a very reasonable price, with great tech support. ... show more

I have not yet used this to engrave, but after assembly that was pretty easy I hooked it up and played with it in Lightburn. I recommend searching YouTube for LAhobbyist who does a thorough tutorial on setting it up. The main issue I have with it is that that should have provided some tubing or dowels so that longer or irregular items could be made more stable during rotation. I should be able to come up with something, but at the moment the longest item you could do safely would be a tumbler. Glass items are not perfectly made and can fall off during rotation as the machine comes so be aware! ... show more

    • We never got to even try it because it wouldnt even work.
We bought this product and due to life it was a few months before we tried using it. We finally took it out of the box and hooked it up and the motor that turns the belt does not turn the belt. So now we are out of our return window and spent $70 for something that doesn't work. MAKE SURE TO TRY your product before your return window is up.
