The media could not be loaded. Overall this machine is amazing. I’ve had it for about a month now and have 95 hours of working time on it. The initial setup took me 3 hours and getting the mirrors aligned was tough but not impossible. The cameras inside the machine are superb. Let’s me get all the details perfect for any job. I upgraded to this unit from the xtool D1 and it’s beyond a night and day difference. The casing keeps all the smoke out and the fan extracts all the smoke and I have it vent out a window. You can change the settings for how long you want it to vent after a job is complete. There is a glass window to watch the machine work and you don’t see any type of light from the laser. The only downside is that’s it’s loud. I just put on noise canceling headphones and play music while the machine works. ... show more

I purchased this machine through Amazon. I attempted to buy the extended warranty (Xtool Care plan) and originally denied because I did not purchase directly through Xtool website. After contacting them and explaining how disappointed and unfair this policy was. A few days later they contacted me and agreed with me and decided to change the policy for all orders from Amazon. They even offered me the care plan at no cost. I’m sold on Xtool products from this gesture. They are a company that listens to their customers and common sense. We bought our Xtool P2 just before the holidays last year because we has some product ideas with huge potential. The P2 checked all the boxes so we got it. Turns out, our products were a huge hit. We were overwhelmed with business and the P2 did a great job, until it didn't. We understand it's a tool and requires maintenance, nothing new. However, Xtool is NOT a US company and has NO US SUPPORT. We went down with thousands of dollars of orders sitting and no way to get repairs. A fan went out and it took a week for them to send a new one (not receive it - to send it). We broke a lens during cleaning and it took 10 days for the new one to get here. We had to find alternative solutions on Amazon. Troubleshooting is a nightmare as well. You either have to be up in the middle of the night to engage with their support or cycle through days of emails to track it down. IT'S A NIGHTMARE! I just sent my 6th email for our current issue (water tank temperatures are too high). We need another machine because of the orders we are receiving. I promise it WON'T BE AN XTOOL. After purchasing the F1 & D1 Pro 20w, I purchased the P2 for the larger bed, fully enclosed, CO2. My main use will be for acrylics. Their customer service is 15 hours difference which can be somewhat trying but they go out of their way to help to solve any issue. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased this product primarily for hobby use, complementing my existing Creality Falcon 40 watt diode laser. I was looking for an upgrade in terms of capacity, ease of use, and capability. One notable aspect of this laser system is its unique control format. Unlike many other systems that adhere to the GRBL standard, this one operates on what seems to be a proprietary system. This is somewhat akin to the difference between Apple and Android ecosystems. The primary control is through the brand's own software, which, while straightforward and capable of basic designs, has its limitations and is, in many areas, somewhat buggy. It excels in certain areas, such as engraving on curved surfaces (up to 45 degrees), thanks to its movable Z-axis – a feature not commonly found in lasers of this type. The product is advertised as compatible with Lightburn, a standard in the industry. While basic functions are accessible with Lightburn, the integration doesn't extend to the more advanced features of the laser. This is an area where I feel there's room for improvement. Enhanced collaboration between the developers of this product and Lightburn could potentially unlock greater capabilities. The machine itself boasts several impressive features. Its movable Z-axis, for instance, opens up possibilities for laser sculpting and 3D effects, setting it apart from competitors. The build quality is excellent – it feels robust and professional. Unboxing it was a delight, reflecting the care put into its packaging. I also invested in all the available accessories, including the riser base, extended rail and conveyor system, and rotary attachment, which are all well-crafted. To draw an analogy, using this product feels like having an iPhone 15 but with an operating system akin to that of an iPhone 2. The hardware is undoubtedly well-made and engineered with potential for future excellence, but the current software experience doesn't fully tap into the device's capabilities. At the time of writing this review, I am considering the option of switching to a system with a more standard, open-source control system that offers full compatibility with Lightburn.
