We already had 2 of these boards and everyone is always trying to be the first to grab one. They’re solid and perfect for sitting on and floating around the pool, as if you’re on a swing. The buoyancy is approximately equivalent to using 3 pool noodles and keeps the upper portion of your body out of the water while the bottom half is submerged. I’ve been waiting a long time for the orange one to come back in stock, as we already had a blue one and green one. I’ve given these as gifts to people with pools too and everyone always loves them.     • Smaller and flimsier than expected

It’s a nice looking design, but smaller and flimsier than I expected. The numbers given are accurate (28” x 9”) but I guess the kids in the photos are very small, because the board looks way smaller in person. Also the photo where the kid is laying on the board and kicking is a little suspicious, because in real life the board would be bent into a crescent shape. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to break or anything, but the photos make it look like it’s stiff (like a real surfboard) when it’s actually very bendy. The material they’re calling “durable compressed foam” is what normal people call styrofoam. It’s not awful but for $18 I was expecting more. I bought a regular shaped TYR kickboard at the same time for half the price, and it is way nicer - stiffer, thicker, nice smooth finished surface instead of styrofoam. I was expecting that material and construction in a fun surfboard shape, but that’s not what this is. It’s fun for a very young kid (3-4) but it’s not very usable as a kickboard and I don’t think it will last. ... show more

My kids (3&7yrs) and husband uses the kickboard in the lake and pool. They have held up so well. Very durable and strong, lightweight too. I’d purchase them again. I store them in our house after each use.

We got these for our two children, one still learning to swim and one who's a little more independent. This board is great for both, its the perfect size for learners to hold onto, not too big not too small. Even great for bigger kids to play with while still providing a little support and safety if they need it. Super durable, seemed like my kids were trying to break it and couldn't. Ordered 2 of these for my kids in their seasonal backyard 12’ pool. It’s a nice flotation device. Has some flexibility in it, and isn’t the “hard” foam kick boards I remembered from childhood. Instead these have some give and slight squishy-ness to the hand, while still remaining stiff, and not a giant wet sponge. Overall, a nice flotation device- great size even for smaller pools, and I’d recommend. (Only issue I had was about a week delay on shipment for whatever reason— was supposed to ship on a Friday for Sunday delivery, received 5 days later) ... show more
