  • Good Quality...Worth the money? - one reccomendation
There are several low quality (under $20) versions of this for sale. I have found that the low quality ones are not worth the money....they break within minutes. This one is very well constructed and the spikes on the back keep it in place while using it. Price still seems high, but I paid it. That being said, one design improvement I would recommend - Even on a completely flat surface, it is difficult to get the ball to stay in the center without rolling off. This is due to the fact that the playing surface is flat and slippery with very little friction. I would recommend designing in a tiny dimple or increasing the friction somehow. ... show more

  • Works
Use it regularly, it really does train you to hit ball first then divot. Has improved my ball striking. I use it with real balls at the range and indoors with foam balls.

  • Excellent Ball Contact Trainer!
I have struggled with "ball first contact, then the ground" for some time. I have used foot spray to draw a line in grass at range etc which works well. This divot board in my opinion is one of the best trainers for this purpose that I have seen. Been using it for a couple weeks and it really does work and is VERY easy to use and can be used in many locations (dont have to go to the range). The top is made of many small round soft plastic disks about 1/4" in diameter. They are green on one side and white on the other held down on the board by a plastic cord/string. When you strike the board with the club it turns the disks that you hit over to show the white side. After you view your contact patch and swing path you simply brush the disks back over (with your club or your hand) to the green side and swing again... Several of the disks in the main hitting area have gotten slightly bent and do not lay down perfectly flat like when new. I wish they would, however it does not detract from the purpose of the board and it still works perfectly. ... show more

  • Love it!!!
It does not teach you how to play golf or correct your swing, but it does show if you are swinging correctly. It gives you great feedback. I highly recommend. I put it in my bedroom so I can swing whenever I want.

  • Provides instant feedback
This is a great aid because it provides instant feedback on where you swing is coming in. You can also tell if you are coming in toe up or heel down. A ball is not needed but helps create focus

  • Great tool! Instant feedback.
If you want to see where your club is bottoming out, this is a great tool. It shows wear quite fast and is a bit overpriced, but a great tool.

  • A Training Aid that finally worked
I've tried the Precision Impact aid, and Hanger aid, and neither have worked as well as Divot Board. I was able to take my practice swings straight to the course with this tool. And my fat and thin strikes have become significantly less. It works as advertised, but wouldn't necessarily give it a 10/10. I'd say this is more around an 9/10. Still much better than other aids out there, but wish it was a bit wider. Even if it was more expensive for being wider, I'd be happy to pay for it. Also, I've gotten about 300 strikes out of it so far, and am ready to install my replacement pad; but think I can get another 100 strokes before I do. This is by far the best golf aid I've ever used ... show more
