    • Cool little product but not perfect
I just recently purchased this product and overall it’s a pretty decent launch monitor. So far I’ve only been able to use it hitting into a net. Setup is easy and quick. The only issue I’ve noticed so far is yardages seem to be wildly inaccurate. For the most part they seem to be off at least 25% short. I’m by no means a great golfer but my driver on average carries 225-230 and rolls out somewhere around 250-280. So far i haven’t even been able to produce a drive with roll distance over 190 yards on this thing. All other clubs are short also but not nearly as bad as the driver but with that being said the other data provided seems pretty spot on. Club speed, launch angle, ball speed, ball flight, and direction seem to be pretty accurate. Overall i think it’s a pretty useful tool but i would not trust the yardage measurements. After using it a little more I’m changing my review to 5 stars. At first it was scary inaccurate but after adding an impact screen yardages are extremely close to accurate.     • Great Tool for Improving Game and Having Fun
This is a great launch monitor/simulator for an even better price. If you are on the fence, buy it. Some notes below but my favorite feature on the MLM2Pro is the video it takes of your full body swing and a zoomed in impact. The stats you get are great but when making a swing change this was by far the best feature to replay with slow motion to review my mechanics. It is also very easy to set up to cast to a TV or projector and screen. - Accuracy: I find the MLM2Pro to be just as accurate other more expensive launch monitors and is within a few yards of my real life yardages - Consistency: The MLM2Pro is fairly consistent, every once in a while there may be an error in capturing a shot or I get an unrealistic number (228 yard 9 iron shot) but I would put this rate at less than 1% and you can delete these shots so they do not effect your stats. - Modes: Great modes for practicing and playing rounds. The trainings games and stats are great for improving my game. - Firmware: Rapsodo does a great job making updates to the firmware to better the experience. When I the first version of firmware I had did not read short chip shots very well. After an update, this problem was resolved. - The Bad: I one minor complaint. The MLM2Pro golf balls to get enhanced data are fairly expensive and the graphics on the ball that allow them to capture the spin wear off after a few months. Occasionally has issue with connectivity and requires you to reconnect but overall great product for the price. Also, have had issues with selecting the right altitude (we are at sea level but have to set elevation to 2000ft to get more accurate distances. Honest review. My kid and I LOVE this device. It is VERY accurate. Also, Its great Father Son time, my Son ALWAYS asks to play which I appreciate. BUT this unit is CONSTANTLY dropping connection, weather it is the direct wifi or over the LAN. I am at a loss.... I got Amazon to approve a late return and get a full refund BUT!!! But Im giving RAPSODO a chance to redeem themselves.. Support is non existent. And this shouldnt be an issue. My MLM2PRO is LITERALLY 5 feet from my mesh wifi unit (Netgear ORBI) and my phone is the same distance away from the WIFI and the MLM2PRO. HOPEFULLY WITH AN UPDATE we can FINALLY USE THIS THING WITHOUT A DROPPED CONNECTION. I sure hope so. I gave up a full refund in hopes the company makes a fix for its HORRIBLE NETWORK/CONNECTION issues. Its 2024 this shouldnt be an issue. ... show more
