Comes empty to had to by about 10lbs of pollyfill but ots great for practice submissions. At first I thought the position of the dummy was weird but once u get it it's the perfect position to mimic having u in side control, have you in close gaurd, have you in mount and have you in backpack. Also mimics defensive postures with elbows tucked like a good partner when u have it in close gaurd, side control, mount and turtle. Great product worth the buy. ... show more

It is a good product , it takes up to 7kg of fabric to stuff it, it is light and firm. I definitely recommend it. Maybe if you want to put a gi on it, do it before stuffing it. He is taller than me haha

Excellent training tool. I try to training with “Georgie” twice a week. That’s on my days off from the gym. He never complains and is ready to roll anytime. Almost a year of use and he never tapped once. He’s filled with rags and weighs 50 pounds. I bought him his own Gi. Order him an A3 Gi. I have him stuffed into an A2 now. It took 2 people to wrestle him into the A2 Gi. He’s only 5’9”, but he’s “thick”. Order him a Gi suitable for a 6 foot, 200 pound guy. Don’t tell him, but he’s getting his first stripe on his white belt! He’s valuable! ... show more

DAAN dummy is the best grappling partner you could ask for. Not only it could go from seating to supine and turtle by keeping his guard (Knee to the chest), but it also helps me to be conscious of my guard passing from knee on belly to full mount without being trap in the half guard. Also, it gives the right reaction that you want from your partner from the bottom or top. you could work on submission, sweep, wrestling, and many more. On top of that, you don't need to hold back on the ground and pound, very good material. I'm acting like a kid every time I practice with it. used poly fill and a cut up bed foam mat, 10lbs fill and close to another 10lb foam. stuffing it is a job but makes a quality dummy done right
