Great item, perfect size for my needs - and storage as well. I bought this ottoman/foot stool and knew when I was buying it that I wanted wheels instead of the feet that came with it. I waited for delivery to determine first if I liked it as much as I thought I would (I did) and second to see how difficult it would be to put wheels on it. Thankfully, it was a cinch! The feet included were to be screwed in, which was perfect for my idea to replace them with wheels. I searched Amazon for furniture wheels and at first was totally befuddled about what in the world to get. The sizes and selections were endless, but so was my patience to get it right and complete my little project. After figuring out what I needed, I was pleased to find that I had ordered the exact correct wheels and voila! The perfect ottoman/foot stool. We got two of these. One was being used by my son as a seat to play games on his laptop. After just a couple of weeks the top had compressed on the side he sits on and was visibly dished. We rotated it to make it more even but you can tell which one was used as a seat. Other than that they are sturdy and comfortable and look good. The lid stays up when you open it. I would recommend these as footstools or rarely used extra seating but not for every day sitting on. ... show more

This little ottoman was the perfect find for my motorhome and looks like it was built by the RV furniture manufacturer. I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed by the fit, color and build quality I wanted to let other people (especially RV owners) know about it. The ottoman fits between the driver and passenger chairs, in front of the couch and will be used mostly in front of the driver's chair facing the TV. It stores perfectly under the dinette seating area when traveling. (see photos) I keep the remote controls, a small throw blanket and reading materials stored inside. I can also put a pillow on it and use it at the dinette for extra seating if needed. The bracket on the lid is well made and stays up when needed and does not come crashing down until you close it. It is lightweight and just the right height to keep your feet comfortably elevated when reclining in a chair. ... show more

I was looking for an ottoman for the center of our couch. I have a dark gray couch and I was worried the light gray would clash. I went with the black one and I think it matches well. The only assembly it required was screwing on the legs. Super easy. It has a hinge that allows the lid to stay open. It’s very nice. It is priced a little high for what it is but I like it very much. I remember many years ago my Grandparents had a big black ottoman that was strong and sturdy, made out of some type of strong material. While you could not store anything inside it, I loved that thing and it held up. You could sit on it for hours without breaking down and it was taller than most and super comfortable. When I got my Dads chair I knew I wanted a comfortable Ottoman that held up and if it it held things inside that would be bonus. This is holding 3 large books that are taller than most and awkward in shape. I love the flip top that fastens easily back down. You can sit on it or use it as a foot rest.
