The key reason I ordered these is the inclusion of 12 AA batteries. That is every light will come with 3 AA batteries. Instead, I received what appears to be an open box product. While 3 out of the 4 lights were wrapped in plastic, the last one does not have any plastic. Only 3 batteries were included, and they were all installed in the one without the wrap. Guess what, those batteries were depleted upon arrival. Something is very wrong with this, be aware. UPDATE: I re-ordered it and a new package was sent this time with 4 sets of battles as described. So far so good but the tape may be the weakest link depending on where you want to use it. Deduct one star from the rating due to the initial mess up. ... show more

    • Be careful where you stick these things!
So, these are perfect for what I need them for. I put one in my shower (out of the way of the water spray), one on the underside of an overhead cabinet, and two in some shelves in my kitchen. Couple things to note before buying: 1) It will STICK I live in an apartment so this freaked me out initially. It has replacement adhesives and it’ll stick wherever but getting it off is a whole event. Highly recommend AGAINST using these on walls. Don’t use it anywhere with paint or staining. I had to move the light under the cabinet so I yanked it off fine, but the adhesive stayed. It’s like a sticky foam disc. I gave up my first attempt trying to get it off and today I finally tackled it again. TIPS FOR REMOVAL: Take the thickest bits off as much as you can. I used a sponge, steel wool, a bathroom scrub (strong plastic bristles), and goo gone. Please note that goo gone doesn’t go well with some surfaces. I soaked the adhesive in goo gone and - wearing gloves and a mask - took turns with each scrubber to get it off. Take your time, spray more goo gone when needed, and eventually it’ll come off. You could probably also use a razor blade but that wasn’t going to work for me since my cabinet is some kind of wood. 2) It’s about as bright as a nightlight. It works best in small areas. Bright enough to see what you’re doing with all other lights off, but not much more. 3) Highly recommend getting rechargeable batteries with these. If you use them frequently they will drain the batteries like “whoa”. I bought rechargeable batteries myself and it’s great - whenever one of them starts to dim I know I gotta charge them and it doesn’t take long at all. So overall, very content with this purchase. I also think replacing the batteries is very easy. You just turn the light and pop it off. It has three little hooks and holes to lock into place when putting the batteries back. ... show more

i got these to put in a china cabinet i refinished and they are bigger than i hoped for and i was hoping the light would be more soft white ( the light is more led blue ) but i decided to keep them. The lights stick really well and are bright
