I installed these lights in my daughters room a few days ago. For the price I paid for them they are fine. My daughter likes them alot. I only bought these lights after watching many review videos on You Tube about LED strip lights, the technology, the variations in quality, the pros and cons, and installation. I chose this specific light set because it is a single 50' strip. Other brands, and even other models by this same brand require attaching multiple strips to make 50 feet. I did not want to deal with additional connections or the visual clutter of multiple cords associated with multiple strips. The installation was fairly easy. I found it helpful to cut off the peeled backing paper every two to three feet. If I let it go longer than that long it added weight pulling on the installed part of the strip and it also got tangled with the remaining portion of the light strip. The adhesion seems very strong. A couple of times I had to peel it back a bit to straighten it out, and the tape actually pulled some paint off the wall. That being said, I followed the installation instructions and wiped the wall down with a mild cleaner prior to installing. Any amount of dust on the wall would weaken the adhesion of the tape. Being a less expensive brand, the lights are spaced two inches apart and some of the colors (purple and orange particularly) are weak. The brightness of the lights is fine for my daughters room because she wants dimmer ambient color light. They are capable of getting much brighter than she needs. From the reviews I watched, the number of lights, quality of the color and brightness is much better on the much more expensive brands. The only complaint that I have is that the remote control that came with these lights is very flimsy. I have used other gadgets with LEd lights that had a similar if not the exact same remote, and those remotes did not last long. The upside of this is that there is a phone App that will control these lights if the remote fails. My daughter has not installed the App because she is not interested in the added features so I cannot speak to the quality of the App. We will see how these lights perform over time, and I will update this review if necessary. ... show more

My kids love these LED lights. They're plenty bright. They offer a range of color and pattern options. I had no problem installing these on the wall along the ceiling even though our walls are drywall. The adhesive works fine. The remote control is functional and the app is intuitive enough for an 11 year old to use. The key that sets this product and seller apart is service. We had an issue with our lights and the seller responded in less than 1 business day and offered a more than satisfactory resolution. This is a good product sold by a great seller! ... show more

I got them yesterday and I cleaned my walls and everything before putting them up and they kept trying to fall down while I was installing so I ended up using some electrical tape to hold it up in some spots. The pictures above are from this morning so roughly 15 hours after being installed and they are already starting to peel off the walls and sag like streamers. Also the brightness is not super bright and the brightest settings still look really dark. So far im not impressed and it's only been 15 or so hours 😭 -- update-- The seller apologized for that poor adhesion and brightness and offered me a full refund as soon as it happened. I give four-star is not because the product is worth buying or anything like that but because the sellers are compassionate and remorseful and clearly care about their company ... show more

Edit: The seller reached out after seeing my first review and offered a full refund. I am extremely satisfied with my experience with them and will definitely purchase again simply because they care about their customers and want to help. I first purchased these for my son for Christmas. Four months later they still work perfectly and are still hanging firmly around his room. My daughter wanted some for her room so I decided to purchase these same lights. The second set has been nothing but trouble. In the last 24 hours that we have had them hung up they have fallen down no less than 9-10 times. The only way we have been able to get them to stick was by adding double sided tape to them. I first got worried because I had ordered these lights before for my daughter bedroom so they were a “buy again” from my amazon list but came in like a different box or packaging so I thought they weren’t the same but went ahead and opened them. They seemed to be the same with one exception I didn’t recall clipping these 4small prongs together to the white boxpart you plug in and I must had input it backwards because I tested it out first to see if they light up before I unraveled and stuck onto wall and they didn’t light up so I panicked and was about to return them but something told me to unclip the four prong thingys and flip it over and re-input it & when I did that the roll of lights lit up beautifully!!! I was running out towards the end so had to align last bit going down windowsill, i could have bought another but my daughter said she loved it 🥰 and thought it looked fine! I would highly recommend, it adds an awesome ambiance to any room. ... show more
