What do you need? Lights that work and these do great. They are a very inexpensive option, with rich colors and every color you may need. From getting just the right solid shade to highlight your decor or backlight a feature to having fun on date night with lights dancing to the music or your playful banter, these have plenty of options to keep you entertained and feeling rich. Yes, the remote is very cheap, but it hasn't failed us after a couple months of use. It definitely won't take abuse, but we are older and it works just fine from anywhere in our apartment. Be aware that there is a mobule that the remote needs to see which the lights plug directly into. There is only a couple inches before the lights start, so consider this in your placement. We placed these loosely on top of the kitchen cabinets and the pop of color really adds much feel. We have settled on the yellow to orange range, with the accent colors being navy and green. It is very complimentary for this. They also have adhesive on the back which we didn't use, but suffice to say that the density of lights is sufficient where you don't notice spots of color and you get more of the flood effect, except when the patterns of light show are performing. Each LED will change color, which is nice compared to the light strips where each LED only displays one color. So, lots of advanced features in a great bargain option which didn't disappoint. ... show more

These were really easy to install and having the adhesive on the back was perfect. They look really nice when up and I was able to mount them really straight. I have white trim in the room and even with the main lights on, you can barely notice the strips at all since they blend in so well. Two main issues: 1. The brightness wanes over the length of the strips. This is hardly noticeable at all on most colors, but when you try to go to white lights, it's quite obvious. The symptom is that they start pure white but then at the end of the string look very yellow. It's hard to tell from photos but I've attached one here. The lights on the right are the start of the strand and the left are the end. You can see how yellow they look. My suspicion is that there isn't quite enough power being supplied to the strings to keep them bright the whole way. In particular the blue is reduced so you get more red and green - hence the more yellow look. 2. The app stinks. It's completely not stable and hasn't seem to be updated in years. If you just happen to tap the same color twice in a row quickly, it crashes. If you want to dial in your own color, you can't see it adjust as you move the sliders. Tapping some of the other icons also cause a hard crash. I have used it only a bit and will likely rely on the remote. On the plus side, it was super simple to pair with my phone. So, overall pretty happy. And, I know I have to be realistic with such a low price for 100 feet. ... show more

I love this new product. It works great and is nice and bright! It reaches all the way around my bedroom and I still have a whole other roll. I was really impressed with the quality for the low price! This product works better than many other ones that are much more expensive. Don’t waste your money on the expensive brands when you can get this one and have a great experience! The only take away is that the app for this product has ads on it. I was a little bit disappointed with ads since I paid for this product! (If you have an iPhone, there is a program called Luna for free that will block all your ads!). Just look it up, It’s a VPN also. I still think it’s well worth buying though! ... show more

When I received the product I was missing the power box and couldn’t use the lights when I contacted Amazon the told me to return it but I didn’t want a return just the missing product I did like that it was a lot of lights tho just unusable.
