Just love these candles! Just love the remote to turn them on and off. Plus other features. If you love candles but maybe have children and afraid of a real candle and the flame, you will love these. No real fire. Runs on two double A batteies. A great buy!!! And romantic as well..

    • Pretty and functional
I ordered the rose pattern and am very happy with how pretty they are, especially while glowing. However, I don't believe this to be real glass, simply a hard plastic. The top part of the candle appears to be a layer of real wax as stated. The flicker is not the most realistic. The little remote is not operational upon arrival so I cannot rate the functionality of the remote. Hopefully it is just a faulty battery and once replaced I can try the dimming effect and timer function. The candles are easily activated manually on the bottom of each candle so it's not a problem. Overall they meet my expectations for providing a cozy glow in a darkened area of my living room and they are just as pretty as presented in the picture. I live in a state that gets hit by hurricanes. Its always nice to have some battery operated candles around when the power goes out. These flameless candles are especially beautiful as well as being very handy for those long nights with no power. Just pop in 3 batteries and you are good to go! Love them! ... show more
