You do need someone or yourself to download the APP that goes with the game (its free and does not take up a ton of room, just DO IT)! The concept of this game is hilarious, You work TOGETHER to stop the killer in the time your have. Ghost face will "call" you and you have to do what he says before he calls again or you "die" and the game ends. The game is fast paced but easy to do and learn. This game is easy to grasp, interactive with the phone app, and is so much fun to play. The larger the group, the longer the game. I played with 2 other people originally and we were going through the game pretty fast. There is a sense of urgency so the game can become very quick paced. This game also allowed us to adapt our own rules to extend the time of gameplay/difficulty level of play. Easy game to travel with and pull out at any party.     • YOU NEED THIS GAME.
Just got this game and played with 7 other people, it was fast paced and so much fun. The box it comes in is pretty small so I’d imagine you could take it on roadtrips or camping. The app you download is free and really adds to the “ edge of your seat experience”. You have to use teamwork to outsmart Ghostface so that you don’t get killed. If one player gets killed the game is over. This was so much fun. It took about 2 rounds before we got the hang of it and then won the third round. This is our new favorite family game. It’s fair priced and great for kids probably 11 and up. The strong language aspect of the game was not bad in my opinion. I expected there to be profanity and descriptive gore language but it was not like that at all. I think it has to give that warning because the worst thing it said “ I’m going to gut you” or something of that nature. This game will really get your heart going. Buy it. This is a fun fast paced game but the instruction are not very clear. We were not sure we were playing it correctly but it was still alot of fun

We have played it a few times and it is stressful but so much fun! Waiting for the calls to come in can be a bit stressful but it is definitely a great team game!

I bought this game purely because it says "Scream" on it. As a fan of the movies I bought for collectability more than an assumption that the game would be fun. It also wasn't expensive so I didn't have high hopes. Boy was I wrong. This game is a blast. It captures the tension of the movies and the functionality of the app that it pairs with is really well done. It is a fast game and constantly keeps you on your toes. My family and I play it regularly and bring it out for every party we have as a quick way to play a fun party game. It supports up to 8 players and even if you've never seen the movie you can still get into the game. It also has a family friendly version that removes harsh language. So I can't come up with any cons and I highly recommend this to fans of the movie and people looking for a fun party game as well. GET THIS GAME! ... show more

The entire family and all friends that have played this game have absolutely loved it! It does take a moment to get the hang of but our 9 year caught on just fine. Great game of communication/cooperation. Always the kids' first choice for family game night!
