High Contact Areas Are Also Treated With Bioguard Coating To Prevent Bacteria Growth. The Machines Highly Efficient Compressor Makes The Cold Water Crisp And Ice Cold At Approximately 47° F Without The Need Of Adding Ice Cubes To Your Drink. The Hot Faucet Is Hot Enough To Cook One'S Tea Or Coffee Or Any Other Steaming Hot Beverage At Approximately 185° F. The media could not be loaded. I am so delighted with my Avalon Water Dispenser! I was tired of purchasing plastic water bottles and needed a better solution for drinking water in my home. I have been shopping around for the right water system and decided to purchase this one. It has been one of the best decisions made since moving in. Here are some of the benefits I am able to experience from my water dispenser. It has 3 water temperatures to select from: Hot, cool, and cold. the cold water is nice when you want to have ice cold water and the cool is more of a chilled temperature. I originally thought it would be room temperature, however it is chilled. I especially like the safety feature of the hot water. I have god children that visit and I can easily turn off use of the hot water feature from the back of the dispenser when they come over. The dispenser boast several additional features that I enjoy like a night light which turns on easily from the back left side. I utilized this just last night as I got up to get a glass of water and didn't have to turn on any lights to do so. Other features I like is of course the bottom loading water feature, which eliminates any chance of accidental spills and heavy lifting. I was able to easily do it on my own with very little effort. For the water dispenser to do so much with regard to different temperatures, it is very quiet. One of the best features is just how easy it was to start using it straight from the box. I only had to position it, place the drip tray in position, add my filled 5 gallon water bottle and plug it in. As a bonus the drip tray has a red floater ring in the middle that will serve as your guide when there is too much water and time to empty it. A totally useful low tech solution I like! Special note for hot and cold water is to turn the switch in the back right side to the on position which is in the “I” position not the “O” position. It takes no time at all to start enjoying both the hot and cold water. Here is another special note: When you switch on the hot water button in the back, you will see a green light in the front. That means the water is not ready and when the light is gone, you are ready to enjoy your hot water. I point that out because I thought it was a little confusing to not see the light as a way to know it is now ready. One thing to note that some may be wandering is that it does not come with a water bottle. The dispenser can support either a 3 or 5 gallon water bottle. I decided to go big and use a 5 gallon. nice appearance, easy to use, the 3 temp. settings are great, no need to use microwave to make tea or instant coffee, much quicker and healthier. Some teenage attendees at recent party were observed drinking the cold water-no waste of plastic water bottles or unused quantities.

This is EXACTLY what we wanted!! We had a bottom load water cooler before and it died so we purchased one with the water bottle on top. Although it worked fine, as we've gotten "older" it's just NOT FUN to get that 5 Gallon Water Bottle up there!! Especially when we are using our Glass Water Bottles!! The bottom load is SO EASY and you're not looking at an upside-down water bottle in your kitchen all day!! I really like the increased height for filling compared to our old unit!! Easily fills our tall insulated water bottles. Our last unit had the "cold" water option although, it was SO COLD it froze solid so we couldn't use it. I love that this water dispenser offers three different water temperatures! Everyone in the family can have their water just how they like it, whether it's cold, room temp, or hot. Since we got it, we've been drinking a lot more water, which is a great bonus. Setup was a breeze—no extra tools or parts were needed, and the instructions were super clear. The only downside is that it can get pretty noisy sometimes. Our home is small, and we keep the dispenser in the kitchen, so when we're having a meal at the table, the noise can be quite loud and a bit distracting. But honestly, it doesn’t affect how well it works or the water quality. We still love how it looks, its compact size, and the convenience of getting the perfect water temperature whenever we want. This water cooler is perfect for our family of 5. We drink a lot of water and go through about 12-15 gallons a week on average. The product works well, it’s nice to have hot water on demand as well as cold water to fill sports bottles or glasses for dinner. It is small and sleek and does not look like an office water cooler. I received this water cooler last week after reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical because some of the reviews said that the water doesn't get very cold and the hot water wasn't very hot. The same thing happened to me when I set it up but I read the quick start guide and found out there are 2 switches in the back of the cooler that you have to turn on in order to get it to work properly. I hope this helps someone else who ordered this cooler. It's very nice looking and I was so happy to get rid of the big white top loading cooler. Very easy to install. It took me 10 min from unpacking to pouring a cup. You do need to purchase your own water bottle separately. After install remember to run a small cup of water and toss out. Recomened in install manual. Mine came with a little scratch on the side. You could tell the packaging had some damage on it when it arrived. Not enough to make it unsightly since it's not an office cooler. I like the water temp options. Hot and cold works great. Only time it's not cold is when the red low level light is on and you've used most the water in reserve up already. Leaves very little water at bottom of bottle when empty.
