We got this as a gift for our son at age 4-5. He enjoyed it and was able to play with a good understanding of the rules, and the game is short enough that he could keep attention well during the whole time. It is colorful and the character moving pieces are the dinos on the cover, with great color and detail. Really better moving pieces than most full monopoly games. It has character tokens you place on the board to show who owns (befriends) each space, so young players can easily see who owns what. I think a missed opportunity is that they changed the money in the game to be 'leafy greens' that you feed the dinosaurs, but the actual greens are just dollar bills. It would have really brought it together better if they made the money look more like dino food or at least have a different shape, though you could easily make/use something yourself.
