By Bill Marsano. Don't kid yourself: this unit is no speed merchant. But it's well built and the accessories are helpful, so here's what to do: make sure you press out as much air as you can, with the zip seal about 3/4 closed, THEN apply the vacuum. A point in favor of this unit is the bags them selves. There's a generous supply to begin with, and so far (I've used about 3/4 of the supply ) have had no leaks. My previous vac's have had about a 40% failure rate for bags. Also, small size means small footprint on the counter or in the drawer, and it's easy to maneuver. Very handy. I use when I have items that need sealing or resealing to store or freeze. It is so handy and does a great job, plus it is rechargeable and can be easily taken to where I need it which is much easier than bringing to kitchen and using big sealer. I highly recommend it.

Easy, compact, reusable, food money saving bags! Bye bye ziplocs! Only downside is delicate liquid nozzle. Should be soft plastic or silicone so it doesn't crack or break. Nozzle not replaceable.
