The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this Vacuum Sealer. It is easy to use, and does an excellent job sealing. Included with this dealer is a roll of bags that stores inside of the unit which is awesome! No more having to store separate bags and you can cut them to the exact size you need which is a huge plus. It also comes with a canning attachment, labels, power cord, and spare seal and foam gasket. I do really like how the bag cutting bar is magnetically heald in place so there is no guess work on cutting the bags as it's held securely. I will say that when closing the lid, you do need to push down firmly on both sides to ensure that the lid is completely closed. There are two buttons on either side to release the lid once you're done sealing. There are several different sealing modes; Seal Only, Dryor Moist Food, Vac & Seal, Pulse, and Canister. This makes the sealer a pretty versitile unit for various types of sealing jobs you need to do. I was fairly impressed with the Moist sealing option. I tested this out on chopped smoked Chicken Tighs that were fairly juicy and it sealed perfectly with no juices escaping the meat/bag. I will say that there was a delay in when it seemed like the bag was done sealing and when the lights went off to signal it was done, so be patient. With that being said, the seal was excellent and solid! I also tried different types of bags to see how they worked. I had made some beef jerkey and used resealable vac sealer bags. There was no issue with these at all which makes me very happy!     • Good Build Quality, Suction, Ease of Use for First-timer!
NOTE: Full disclosure, this is a compensated review, but that doesn't change the quality of the product. The requirement was simply that I review it honestly. I had been looking for vacuum sealers for a bit of time, and had already used InkBird products before, so I figured that I would give this one a shot. Its nice and straightforward for a first-timer like myself. Easy to understand modes, alignment of the bag, etc. It's a comparatively light unit from a weight perspective. My dad has a vacuum sealer and it's much heavier, but this one performs just as well if not better. The suction is more than sufficient to perform the vacuum sealing that I performed. Note that I did not try on anything wet, only dry sealing. I originally paid $80 for the unit, and I feel that it's a fair price given all that comes in the box. Right now I've only just sealed a few items and they're in my freezer, but they aren't discolored at all and the seal held strong. I'm pretty impressed with the build quality. The aluminum/plastic construction feels solid in the hands and even has a good "chunk" when you close the cover properly indicating a good seal. Overall, I really like the product. The ONLY thing that concerns me is the rather ominous, "Vacuum 200 Times Continuously". I'm not sure if this is a thing with all vacuum sealers, but I will not be happy if after 200 uses it just stops working. This is my ONLY reason for giving it 4 stars. ... show more
