Bought this for my wife, ended up using it myself to make frappes and frozen coffee drinks ! This thing works as you'd expect, and was easy to clean. The center metal piece gets cold and freezes whatever you put in, and the corkscrew moves the slush around and towards the spigot for pouring. The corkscrew comes out as well as the container for the slushes you make. The center metal part is fixed and stays put (you just wipe it off and it's ready to use again). You can wash the corkscrew and container part no problem - easy to wash. It cools things pretty quick, you can have a frozen drink in a matter of 10 minutes in the case of the coffee we used chilled coffee already in the refrigerator. It says DO NOT POUR hot things into the unit, which is obvious, but does need stating that you can't just pour a hot pot of coffee into the thing and out comes slush. So don't pour hot things on something that freezes, or it can break -- just like a cold glass and pouring hot water into it.. can break the glass. Most people understand this, but some need it explained. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, and will be using it for sure almost every day this coming summer. My husband and I absolutely love this product. It makes restaurant quality margaritas with creamy, not chunky texture. You’re able to use so many different liquids. So far we’ve made margaritas, grape slushies for the kids, daiquiris, and even seltzer slushies. One thing to note is that you cannot add any “chunky” ingredients, so no fresh fruits. ... show more

The slushi machine is easy to use and makes a good slushi. But for the price I am not sure that it is worth it for me. I do think that this is a better product than many of the competiting items, but it is more expensive. If the price isnt a concern, this is probably the product for you!
